India's First Hybrid Rocket Launch was launched from Mamallapuram at 8.15 am. The rocket was launched today (February 19) carrying 150 satellites made by 3500 government school students.
Puducherry Lt. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Scientist Mailsamy Annadurai participated in the launch from this rocket launch pad. It features 150 small satellites jointly developed by 3500 government school students from classes 6 to 12 across India. It is said that information such as weather, radiation characteristics, atmospheric conditions can be obtained.
After more than a year, students divided into groups and built these satellites. The task of government school students is to design and analyze computer aided software with satellites.
A satellite revolution has taken place with the launch of this satellite; Scientist Mylswamy Annadurai said that engineers should be created in schools.
