20T Methalox engine is based on CE-20. I am wondering whether it is possible to convert SCE-200 into methalox engine in future.

SCE-200 based Methalox engine will be in the class of Raptor engine. We can develop our own Starship in future if we want. But let them finish SC120 & then HLV.

1st they have to prove SCE-200. After that they can do a feasibility study whether a Methalox version of SCE-200 can be developed or an entirely new engine of 200T thrust class needed to be developed. Then they will decide what to do

Right now timeline for first engine test sce-200of 2027-28 if no further delays due to ukrain crisis or schedule of gaganyan. My openion is that we are stuck with gslv mk3 for atleast a decade and a lot of people agree with me in my circle
