Brazil's plan for space exploration got destroyed when their rocket exploded on the launch pad and many scientists and engineers died.Good that Brazil has found India for both space and pharma industry.
The way Sivan highlighted their engineering was also nice. It was not just self praise. The fact that their minister for science and technology was witnessing and was invited to speak shows that Brazil has put in its capital to strengthening its relationship with India.

Brazilian space program has faced a lot of accidents, some in Brazil some in China, but this was a pleasant experience for Brazil for an accident proof launch of their first indigenous satellite, we should cooperate further.I did not know that.
No wonder those folks looked a bit tense.

Brazilians are happy with these launch. I follow a page on Insta "Space Today". It is run by a Brazilian guy. He is a great admirer of Isro and frequently post about Isro.I did not know that.

When technology is in the hand of few, they have monopoly which gives them the right to sale it at a price they found good. When it becomes common, you need to have a cost advantage as there are many player and no one enjoys monopoly. Space sector has entered into a stage of competition. Whosoever has a cost advantage and reliability will win. I foresee Rusia and China out of competition. India will compete with US and EU for their share. US will continue to enjoy an advantage where they still enjoy monopoly such as heavy lift missions etc. ISRO needs more funding to make itself more competitive and venture into new areas.This is about creating an ecosystem. An ecosystem which makes aerospace normal like the one in US or EU.

China is a great space power whose rockets still fails on regular basis. Chinese mall hai.Too few launches, only by 4 this year till now so far.

Chinese and to some extent even Indian cost advantages will wear out in next 30 years.I foresee Rusia and China out of competition. India will compete with US and EU for their share. Private players in US are actually in market on basis of cost advantage. You just cant believe how much SpaceX lowered costs and they are still working on lowering the costs. Yes, labor cost are higher there but still they are managing cost comparable to us plus look at their 10 yr plans, they will be building launchers to launch far higher of sats in space than us. SpaceX is already launching 60 starlink sat in cluster in Falcon 9, they recently broke ISRO records of launching highest no of sat in one mission. They can repurpose Falcon 9 fairing to include only small or nano sat and there goes our ISRO's lower labor cost advantages.Read again what I wrote. This is generally true with low tech items but countries with Lower labor cost and skills in Space technology should emerge by that time. I foresee few countries with lower labor cost but I do not foresee those countries emerging as space power who can provide space services at a lower cost. Look into what has already happened in space sector in Indian and rest of the world till now and what are the actual plans for next 10 years and what the companies are doing to actually realize these plans.
