To start with, this ship clearly isn't carrying any MFSTAR right now.

The shape of the array is what matters and its the same for Vikrant as it was for Kolkata. The mast is just for providing elevation to the sensor to increase the radar horizon...but on a carrier the island is already high enough, doesn't need a mast.

The LRMFR radar being installed on INS Anvesh may or may not evolve into an indigenous alternative for MFSTAR for future ships (NGD, NGF etc.)

A war between bharat and porks will always involve navies of the two.
If india wants to get an initial advantage , then these regions around karachi should be hit and hit hard.

Aka naval dockyard , sink all ships there.
Civilian or military doesn't matter.

Pakistani oil depots , good and juicy ones just like 1971.

the nuke power plant west of main karachi city.

another refinery , west of the nuke plant above.

another powerplant near the refinery mentioned above.

this industrial park , must be targeted

this thing powers paf airbase at shah faisal .
Must be razed to ground.

a water treatment plant.
If above mentioned targets are hammered effectively , Pakistan's war effort on naval front can be crumbled very much.

No doubt another big step considering current pandemic situation.

I'm more conservative about induction possibility at 2022, but we shall see.

Which makes the air wing issue more urgent now. Tip point for critical decision among available options (models), I'm afraid. Or we accept the under-utilized deck (for fixed wings).

The air wing matter is settled- the current 2 squadrons will cater to both carriers. Doable because it’s unlikely both carriers will be at sea at the same time however as the requirement for 2 carriers would be 5-6 squadrons the 2 are going to be worked incredibly hard which will lead to fatigue/stress on the airframes and personnel- not good for an already weak fighter

Expect many more crashes sadly

The navy has made their bed, they’ll limp on with the existing 2 squadrons of 29Ks until TEDBF is ready

(They are likely to order a few to replace crashed airframes)
