INLD leader, 4 of his family killed in road accident - The Times of India
JAIPUR/HISAR: Five members of a family, including Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Baljit Singh Malik were killed in an accident, when a sports utility vehicle carrying them rammed a stationary truck in Dausa district of Rajasthan on Wednesday .
The driver of the vehicle, Paramjit and three other members of the family were injured.
Baljit Singh of Sultanpur village in Hisar district had gone to Khatushyamji temple along with his family. But when they were returning to their village on Wednesday morning, their vehicle slammed into a truck parked on the roadside, killing five persons on the spot. However, a report from Jaipur said that they were on their way to Mehandipur Balaji temple in Dausa from Khatushyamji temple in Sikar when the incident occurred at Reta village under Sikandar police station circle, police said.
The victims were identified as Baljit Singh Malik (42), Joginder Malik (35), his sister Sheela (32), Sunita (28) and Anjali (10).
