Bajwa's 'Legs Shaking', Qureshi in 'Fear of Indian Attack': Pak Oppn Recounts Night Before Abhinandan's Release

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq on Wednesday said that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had in an emergency meeting pointed out that “if Islamabad did not release Abhinandan Varthaman, India would attack Pakistan that night by 9 pm”, reported Pakistani media website Dunya News.
Recalling the events from February 2019, the Pakistani opposition claimed that the Imran Khan government had released Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman “out of fear” of an Indian attack. Varthaman was taken into Pakistani custody after he landed on the other side of the border following an aerial dogfight between Indian and Pakistani pilots.

“I remember Shah Mahmood Qureshi was in the meeting in which Imran Khan had refused to attend and Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa came into the room, his legs were shaking and he was perspiring. Foreign Minister said for God’s sake let Abhinandan go, India’s about to attack Pakistan at 9 PM," said Sadiq.
Varthaman was released by Pakistan after Prime Minister Imran Khan made the dramatic announcement in the National Assembly as a sign of “goodwill gesture”.

The PML-N leader told opposition leaders that it was Qureshi who had "pleaded" for Abhinandan's release during the parliamentary meeting, which was attended by leaders from PPP, PML-N and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The report further quoted Sadiq as saying that the opposition has so far supported the Khan-led PTI government in all issues, including Abhinandan, but won't any more.
The IAF pilot was captured by Pakistani authorities on February 27 after his MiG 21 Bison went down during a dogfight with Pakistani jets. But before his plane was hit, he shot down an F-16 of Pakistan air force.
Soon after his release, Varthaman, who was brought to Delhi through the Attari-Wagah border, had apprised then Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that he had gone through "a lot of mental harassment" in the neighbouring country. He had briefed Sitharaman and Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa about the mental trauma.

More beizzati of Chinese Pakis.

Imrand Niazi claimed Abhi was released within 48 hours due to goodwill gesture and a "mature state" but FACT is that Bajwa was shit scared of losing his whole brigade by a massive retaliation overnight by Indian Military.

Also Imrand Niazi didn't come to the meeting as he was hiding under pallu of his jadookhor wife and reciting Modi Hu Akbar! :pound::pound::pound:

New Delhi: Former Indian Air Force (IAF) chief BS Dhanoa has claimed that Indian armed forces were ready to wipe out Pakistan`s forward brigades had Islamabad`s "military adventure" been successful in response to the Balakot aerial strikes.

Recalling the turn of events and how India prepared its response to the Balakot strike, Dhanoa said that "our military posture was very offensive".

The former IAF chief made these remarks on Thursday in wake of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq's remarks in Pakistan's National Assembly that Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was "shaking and perspiring" during a meeting to discuss Wing Commander Varthaman's capture.

Ayaz Sadiq had said in the National Assembly that Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had in an important meeting pointed out that if Pakistan did not release Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, India would attack Pakistan "that night by 9 pm".

"Abhinandan`s father and I served together. So, when Abhinandan ejected I told him that we could not get Ahuja back, but will definitely get Abhinandan back. During the Kargil war, my flight commander Ahuja was captured and shot dead. That was playing on my mind. I told him that there are two parts. The main pressure on Pakistan was diplomatic and political. But there was also a military posture," Dhanoa said.

"The way he (Pakistan MP) is saying that ‘Pair `kaanp rahe the’ (legs were trembling). It is because the military posture was very offensive... God forbid if there are military misadventure on 27th and hit some of our military installations, we were in a position to wipe out their forward brigades. They know what we are capable of," he said.

It may be recalled that Wing Commander Varthaman had shot down a Pakistani aircraft F-16, which had transgressed into the Indian airspace during a dog fight between Indian and Pakistani air force on February 27, 2019, and in the process, his plane crossed over to Pakistani side and was shot down.

Abhinandan was returned to India from the Attari-Wagah border on March 1, 2019.

Dhanoa, who was the Indian Air Force chief when the aerial strikes took place in Pakistan, said that Indian military could not strike to secure Abhinandan`s release but it could do it to put pressure on the Pakistan military.

"But that decision is political. Whether we need to go to war. Suppose strike on 27th had been successful, then to what extent do we respond. Do we respond with a full-scale war or only hitting their forward brigades opposite us? This is a political decision," he was quoted saying by ANI.

The former IAF chief said that the Balakot strike had put fear into Jaish-e-Mohammad and their Pakistani handlers that India can hit them in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) as well as in Pakistan.

"Till the time Indian elections got over, there was nothing because they knew the response is going to be very swift. We were deployed in this manner that we could respond at very short notice. It is very good for the morale that he was released at such a short period of time and he came back unharmed," he said.

Abhinandan has been awarded the Vir Chakra on Independence Day by President Ram Nath Kovind for his exemplary bravery.

Even after such open admission in their parliament Chinese Pakis are in 786% DENIAL MODE and some claiming it's just propaganda by TOM MOODI and some are feeling utter shame but outnumbered by hyper nationalist jihadis! :pound:

Now that Ganja Sharif is all raring to go leading all opposition parties, we can start giving "MORAL" support to them and repeat Bangladesh-II. Ye mauka baar baar nahi aega!

Ganja Sharif can be made PM of Sindhudesh -> :sindhudesh:

Bilawal bitiya can be made PM of Baluchistan -> :balochisan:

We would support both new countries and make good business with them and prosper and free them from the evil clutches of Pakjabis!

His legs also got shaking like his phattu eunuch General Bajwa :basanti: :pound: and he backtracked before it could be made an issue as VK Singh raised it.

We already know in any case who did Pulawama.

We declared openly that we did 2 SURGICAL STRIKES in open in retaliation and NEVER backtracked!

"Therefore, by afternoon on February 27, the IAF and PAF had two all-new taskings. For the IAF, it was all about securing the immediate and unconditional release of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, while for the PAF it was all about trying to convince Pakistan’s domestic audience that its conventional deterrent posture had indeed produced the desired results. The Govt of India used the back-channels established by the Prime Minister’s Office with POTUS Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and with the ruling royal family of the United Arab Emirates to convey to Pakistan its 1-point demand about Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman’s immediate and unconditional release (a fully justified demand since Abhinandan’s MiG-21 Bison was shot down while conducting a purely defensive air operation, and his flight was neither intended nor armed for causing any material damage to life or property on the ground and hence did not qualify as an aggression-driven mission). India also conveyed that any attempt by Pakistan to either refuse to or delay the release of Abhinandan within 48 hours will result in the IAF conducting pulverising air-strikes lasting up to a week against all eight Brigades of the 60,000-strong, PoK-based Mujahid Force that comes under the command of the Pakistan Army’s (PA) Rawalpindi HQed X Corps. The Mujahid Force exists as irregular combatants and owes allegiance to the ‘Azad Kashmir Regiment’, which has 32 Infantry Battalions distributed among 8 Brigades. The 1 AK Brigade is located in Muzaffarabad, the 2 AK Brigade in Rawalakot, the 3 AK Brigade in Kotli (has an area of responsibility located opposite to the Rajouri, Poonch, Naushera and Sunderbani sectors), the 4 AK Brigade in Bandli, the 5 AK Brigade in Dhani, the 6 AK Brigade in Bagh, the 7 AK Brigade in Bhimber, and the 32 AK Brigade in Kel. The Mujahid Force comprises the 640, 641, 647, 652, 654, 655, 815, 834, 841, and 886 Battalions of the PA. The 656 Battalion is the Mujahid Force Training Centre at Bhimber.

For Pakistan, the Indian demand and threat posed a double whammy: how could the PAF justify its claim of having restored credible conventional deterrence vis-à-vis the IAF on February 27 if just a short while later it was seen unable to prevent the IAF from decimating the eight AK Brigades that were forward-deployed in PoK along the LoC, especially at a time when the PAF’s POL stockpiles were way below its 20-day general service aviation fuel reserves and consequently, at best, the PAF would have ceased to be an effective fighting force after the first four days of intensive flying under war-like conditions? Only later did become known that it was this very reason that caused Pakistan to extend the ban on its airspace for all India-origin commercial flights till June 28, 2020—this being the only way of minimising the quantum of CAP sorties required to be flown by the PAF along the IB, WB and LoC."
