No same if happen with cy3 surely everyone said failed. Hw can we it landed softly. If it is not in correct orientation than it means some thing hit it.

I means to say if same thing happened to cy3, it will called complete failure.

If slim not able to sustain even 2 hours then how it is success??

Just like CY3 could not survive Lunar night ..still it was deemed success.

SLIM main objective was to land with precision on slanting edge which it did. Next prolly they will figure out how to hold on the slanting edge of crater.

Cy3 not build for night. It's completed its whole life cycle. It's media which talked about lunar night. ISRO clearly said for 14 moon days.

Correct. Thats what I am pointing at. Actual pbjectives vs perceived objectives. Dont judge mission on basis of percieved objectives.

Congratulations JAXA. Next ISRO-JAXA must work together to land a much larger rover that can last several months on the South Pole and truly try to discover water.
