I believe the 2009 Purchase was post visiting the GSG-9 HQ and was a very small batch given to Instructors. It was not a Force Wide Deployment.

IMO. First you train the Instructors in the Use of new Kit then train the Operators before mass deployment.

Yup there is a sly disinformation campaign going on in Tamil Nadu, which is showing up on my FB too regularly now. Earlier it was just political satire now it's pure disinformation. I am not seeing counters. My opinions are based on English posts, I suspect even worse in Tamil.

If left alone, it would be an epidemic.

If one monitors things like this closely I think it is safe to say that very recently the threat to the PM has increased quite significantly, the SPG have added a number of extra measures to secure the PM and their deployment patterns are far more aggressive now.

Something is going on behind the scenes....
