This boy just popped up to the surface very close to the shore. Pic taken from a North Kerala beach. Don't know what that fishing boat is doing there
Probably got caught in its fishing nets and it had to pop up to unentangle the nets and ropes.View attachment 247447View attachment 247448

Design isn't Turkish, it's by SEDS Cochin. It appears HSL got the technical consultancy it was looking for , paid the Turkish shipyard on condition of radio silence & now has embarked on the project all on its own .

The article by Defence Archives is claiming design was undertaken by HSL in house. Besides I never claimed it was by the Turkish group. But there was some technical consultancy they were part of in mfg .Design isn't Turkish, it's by SEDS Cochin.
Naval News comments:
A public sector Shipyard, HSL was nominated for the FSS project by the MoD. The yard had finalized Turkey’s Anadolu Shipyard of TAIS as the design collaborator after a failed attempt to partner with South Korea’s HHI. A contract for design collaboration and supply of key machinery equipment was signed between HSL & Anadolu Shipyard in March 2020.
According to Hindustan Times, the agreement with the Turkish consortium will kick in after HSL gets an order from the Indian Navy. If all goes well, that could happen by October 2021. Unlike the other projects of this type, the Turkish side will transfer technology from the initial stages and all five vessels will be constructed in India. Besides designs, the Turkish consortium will provide engineering services , planning & preparation of specifications.
Wtf ? When did this happen?I believe the last time we rescued a few Paxtani sailors from being kidnapped & clicked photos apart from filming a video for PR, where Paxtanis were seen thanking the IN, Pindi was riled enough to get PN to forcibly board an Indian boat out fishing in the international waters off Gujarat adjoining Paxtan only for PN to repeat exactly what the IN did for PR.
Whether we should be rescuing Paxtanis is moot. I'm sure if we don't , the world would understand. Moreover it'd force those Somali pirates to focus exclusively on Paxtanis thereby sparing the rest & making ours & the world's job easier. Let the ummah then settle it among themselves.
