Can't vouch for the veracity of the news here but according to this site , Dassault is keen to complete negotiations & sign the agreement for purchase of 26 Rafale M by end January 24 in order to meet with the " deadline of credit authorisation for the deal extended by the Indian Parliament (?) which ensures funding of the deal failing which the entire process would be endlessly delayed. "
