The More tax compared to the tax they currently pay (0), sure.

The percentages of direct tax payers in India is an abysmal single digit number. The middle class is bearing the burden of the poor while the poor don't feel obligated. And the "poor" are poor only on paper. The middle class ends up paying because TDS gets deducted compulsorily. Non trainees professionals Starting IT salaries in mass recruiting large companies are 3,00,000 roughly 25,00,000 PM.This guy is "middle class" and ends up paying tax. And a maid who charges 1.5k/pm and works in 10-15 households earns all her money in cash so she is "poor". The "poor" maid's children get free subsidized education, and roam around with Pulsars and iPhones while the middle class person is stuck in education loans and home loans. The "poor" maid squats on public land and demands regularization of slums and gets a free home in slum-rehabilitation scheme. The middle class person is charged on a "per square feet" basis. Never heard them complain about this injustice which is in their favor.

If they are going to be taxed more, let them pay more, or they can choose not to buy things that are not necessary.

The "poor" farmers get 100% tax waiver, on top of that they get farming subsidy, on top of that, if there is bad yield, they get loan bailouts, and these assholes, when the urban middle class requests for a 2 rupee reduction in milk rates, do this :

Some state govt provide govt children one boiled eggs 2 times a week . In a school i know girls make a group of 4 and one of them take all 4 eggs and another one next time in series . That day everyone of their family eat eggs . U are jealous of these people ...

And here we have victimhood among people who are giving rs 7 egg to dog and getting egg from chicken who are eating 22 type of herbs . Understand reality of this country .

corrections .. nobody is playing victim to anyone... it is not sin to demand answers from ruling elite for the suffering i am going thru...

5 years back, i was in a situation where i almost lost my son due to lack of money in a hospital...only person who came to my rescue was my own dad... neither modi came nor RAGA ..... since than I have worked my ass off in last 6 years, 18 hours a day to earn that 12 re egg for my kid....

and Pls refrain from taking cheap pot shots.... i am not complaining on ur life style...

5 years back, i was in a situation where i almost lost my son due to lack of money in a hospital...only person who came to my rescue was my own dad... neither modi came nor RAGA ..... since than I have worked my ass off in last 6 years, 18 hours a day to earn that 12 re egg for my kid....

Ya'll Nibbiars same situation happened with me in 10 standard. At that time faced chorella, dengue 2 times, malaria 4 times and other diseases. At before the final 4 th semester exam felled I'll and this time admitted in the hospital with no one ready to pay for the hospital bills. Aab kya hota bhala hai us bhale doctor ka who helped to free the hospital bills. Yase halat the us waqt and also at that time hamari madam ji ki halat kuch jada ache nahi the.

That's one way of looking at it. But if you look at it from another angle you will know this is indeed beneficial for the country. If that 1.5 lakh crore was outside of banking system it would have been utter wastage of resources. Banks would have to print money when they have to lend if there are no deposits which is basically printing money out of thin air. More cash in circulation is not good for the economy. This will also help in controlling inflation. Banks can utilize this money to invest in productive assets and make profits on it. If Indians use less cash it will have a unintended effect of controlling corruption. There will be no huge amounts of money exchanged under the table. All transactions have to go through via banking system making tax evasion extremely difficult. From the national security point of view there will be no fake notes in circulation thus Paki scums cannot take the route of printing fake INR.

The ultra rich believe in socialism because it allows them to get the unproductive "poor" people addicted to doles at the expense of the middle class and keep the latter from growing too big/ starting enterprises and challenging the rich. It ensures that the middle class are always stuck in the rut of paying for the expenses of others and the "poor" remain subservient to the rich in return.

And Earlier I used to feel bad for their plight but seeing them upclose has changed my perspective towards the poor. The middle class takes debt to fund asset creation and converts it into cash. The poor takes cash and converts it into debt. Loss karna bhi ek type ka acquired talent hai.
