@Haldilal and I agree on that we need governments full support to export anything in which government needs to have our companies back when they get stuck in lobbying and other environmental problems but the government is not able to deal with that in country itself so I don't have any hope on that, the companies need to go on their own.

Ya'll Nibbiars follow the Japanese Model it worked every where in ROK, China. Make a merit based system to encourage domestic firm's export's. And first low tech then hi tech.

India and merit based system usually don't go hand in hand. Its all decided under the table.

the government is stuck in the middle they have to ensure support to the poor meaning welfare schemes but on the other hand they have to favor corporates as well. If you have the government favoring one or the other people from the opposing side will start calling them out

Ya'll Nibbiars some are already trying like Tata, Birla, Mahindra which are trying to make export based Indian productions capacity. But with limited scale. The Tata Internationl has shoe making unit in Chennai for last 10 years. But if supported with financial and policy matters it could see a more export's and also rapid expansion.

Ya'll Nibbiars modi gujarats model is nothing but the same I said in the above posts giving preference to Large busines houses to be comperative and grow. With ease of policy and state supports on the national scale. But sadly this is still in making on the international scale for the central government. The biggest hurdle is that if the central shows favoritesem to the large Business houses then the opposition will foul cry. But without this we can never achieve a large scale export focused base.

It's their job they need to keep the balance, they have nearly everything at their disposal if they can't do this then certainly they are incompetent in handling things or they need to hire more bright minds to handle these things.

And I am not talking about monetary handouts but of the policy support if something goes haywire or any problem with lobbying then the government need to support the companies which is not the case for every expect some chosen ones.

And this has reflected in the April export's. But need to go full on with this if GOI want to achieve double digit growth rate at a sustained long term pattern's.

Yes thats the right way to go.

For that first we need to teach concept of merit to people who love cast, region, religion based reservations. People who gladly apply for clerk job in gov after doing PhD because they want to be a babu. Japanese style merit based system comes with not only benifits but also many risks. People should know both sides about such system and should willingly accept it as next level of economic evolution.

Indian RW should be doing massive anti-socialist propaganda. Debunk socialist economic model. It can be done but unfortunately RW in our country don't even bother to explain simple capitalism to masses.
Eg: Privatization of PSUs is still not properly explained to general public by anyone, while leftists are crying day and night about Modi selling India.
