Indian IT companies are IT 'Services+Support' companies not product based companies. the base of setting these companies was that US big companies will offshore IT services and support on CHEAPER rates to them.

Software Prosuxt based companies.

We generally perform well in Industries that does not require large amount of land.
Any industry that requires more than 5 acres of land is a uphill task since land as a resource is very stressed and average land holding is very low at 2.5 acre.
A industrialist looking to set up a factory of 20 acre may have to negotiate with multiple people.

Compare that to America 445 acre land holding. You could but a land from a single farmer and build an entire steel plant.

Land is probably our single largest disadvantage and the root cause of all our misery anything else does not apply.
