We’re doomed bille, we might end up becoming $1 per capita GDP!
Ya'll Nibbiars if you can't have a meaningful conversation then stop quoting my post. And again stop writing novels or change your professions.

Ya'll Nibbiars if you are going to go back on the reforms like the farms reforms then who we can even think of the labour reforms which are necessary for the double digit growth rate?. The recent accident or rather say sabotaged at our new electronics industry was the showcase of how resiously we take our security of the industrial sites. This layout union's will never allows us to grow at the double digit rates.

Ya'll Nibbiars you want double digit growth. But don't want the labour reforms then how you can even think that the productivity will increase?. Without this reforms we will be stuck in the 6 to 7 percent growth rates.

Goi will most likely bend to another protest as a result of this reform.
The entire system is corrupt and what we need is complete purge

Ya'll Nibbiars thats what I said @FalconSlayers Nibba see the Russian examples. The external forces will never make the same mistake as China and allows us to grow peacefully. Will always make problems in our productivity one way or another.

On the other hand the west will always require a place to make cheap stuff to fuel their consumerism

@Crazywithmath What are ur thoughts on rupee appreciation in this decade? I was listening to harsh madhusudan where he mentioned about weak dollar cycle and ruppe appreciating in this cycle and faster gdp numbers.. what is ur estimate?
A stable rupee is possible with minor/ near zero depreciation in the next few years; the rest depends on overall macro and monetary policy and has too many external factors to take into account. Regarding Madhusudan, he is too optimistic; take his projections with truckload of salt.

Even the latin American countries are richer than us and are around 8-10k range that wouldn't be the worst thing

It's a pure government shitfuckery- a legalised robbery in the name of AGR dues and it has affected everyone including the consumers- price hike within the last year itself. And it's also an indicator of what happens when you hound your bureaucrats in the name of botched up audits and thru CBI/IT/ED raids- Telecom department developed cold feet after 2G scam arrests.
Thanks to the higher level of consolidation and deep pockets of Jio and Airtel from their other businesses that they could survive- otherwise we would have been witnessing bloodbath the telecom companies and employment in that sector if the market were as fragmented as earlier-hutch, tata telecom, idea, Airtel, reliance telecommunication etc. Otherwise, it's a pure tax terrorism
For anyone interested on this topic of government led war on its own telecom industry- a tale of stupid CAG, terrified Babudom, Congi corruption, SC incompetence and BJP cuckoldry- watch this. They could make a thriller movie with a depressing end on this.

Ya'll Nibbiars education reform can be made in phases. But the labour reforms is the biggests problems and This farm reforms was a test that we failed.
Better let states take care of them. I am actually impressed the way a few BJP- ruled states are going ahead with agri/ land/ industrial reforms (KA, Guj, Uk to name a few). The GOI could design a model policy and let states handle the rest; something they are attempting in order to stimulate the textile sector (MITRA scheme being a case in point). If a few states want to butter up a privileged few why should the rest of the nation suffer? The large number of 'concurrent' issues don't leave much room for big bang centralized reforms anyway.

Ya'll Nibbiars within the reforms at the central not possible. The state can only do upto a certain level but not over all without the reforms and even with a clear majority. We failed.

Ya'll Nibbiars peches ka bhul age ka dekh. Without changing the current policies nothing can be expected. I can also go on and on about the mistake down in the past. But expecting even this much is to much asking from the GOI.

US$ 7-8 trillion is a baseline scenario. With favourable domestic and international environment even exceeding US$ 8 trillion might be possible (optimistic but still somewhat realistic). All the remaining tall talks on 10 trillion, 20 trillion and what not is nothing but a load of BS because unlike our neighbors our economy won't grow on paper only.

Ya'll Nibbiars I will still take the 7 trillion dollars. As we knew when you grow many nation will become hostile towards you.
