What's most likely is that guy in the centre is just heard just for photo-op & guys to the sides is what they actually look like on the field.

It'll take years to get them properly equipped, after Khangress govt left their tech level at pre-2000 standard.

Pfft, gloves & goggles don't make someone "better armed"... They don't even have a BPJ!
Not to mention both lack optics on their vintage guns with no adjustable buttstock or p-rails, forget suppressors. No comms, no rails for night-vision on helmets.

The upgrade of Assam rifles is quite promising though.

#AssamRifles alongwith Manipur Police apprehended Six cadres of the proscribed USRA with huge cache of arms & ammunition on 26 Aug 19 from Imphal . The apprehended Cadres alongwith recovered items were handed over to Police for further investigation.
