It was good move by BJP to Dump Mehbooba mufti it was coalition of convenience anyway but i would say BJP emerged as winner. how ?
*by aligning with PDP they formed the govt which prevented mufti to go with congress which would have disastrous situation for India
*Imagine congress as coalition partner of mufti's in kashmir congress would have sabotaged any efforts by Modi and Doval and rajnath which would benefit India as we all what kind of poisonus Snake congress Party is
* mehbooba with congress would also mean hurriyat would be having more leverage which would lead to more violence on streets which would result in death of more soldiers now hurriyyat's are sidelined to an extent both in kashmir and in media(there was a time when i thought hurriyta's were the real govt of kashmir)
*mehbooba with congress would mean rawalpindi will be calling shots in srinagar given that how mehbooba bats for pakistan and we all how congress is in a relationship with Pak army
*Operation all out would not have achieved this kind success if it was mehbooba congress govt
*the timing is also perfect for BJP mehbooba needed BJP more than BJP needed mehbooba as her reputation is in mud right now she won't even win 10 seats in kashmir right now
*By imposing this ceasefire thing she thought BJP would concede and keep quiet rajnath singh turned the table
*he accepted for ceasefire which would gain some good will in kashmir as Hindu Party allowed for ceasefire in Ramzan which would be in minds of many fence sitters in kashmir
*allowed army and intelligence agencies to regroup of course this also holds good for terrorist forces

Just one point, once an Indian PM just dropped in to wish Pak PM on his birthday, result, for 3 years no international voice opposed our retaliation on LOC/IB as PM had made effort for peaceful resolution of dispute.... Then again some one went for ceasefire when he was on winning curve....
