If terrorists are 20 to 21, it can be a very attractive target for us. Mobilize Massive troop and cordon the area. Make sure that no one can escape. The chance of eliminating 21 pigs togather do not come too often.
Do not hesitate to use poisonous gas if required to make them unconscious.
Doubtful! Who has counted them? Trust the Kashmiris out there to give accurate info!!! Lol!

Secondly they will never infiltrate in such a large group, at most 5-6 in a group. However this could be an assembly area, an RV for various groups that have infiltrated. It used to happen earlier in the 90s where Hill Kaka forest was used as an RV for various terrorist groups. They were finally smoked out from there and the area is now free of any terrorist activity.

Is it not possible by GOI to take this unrest to POK. Why fight them on Indian territory.

Since our foreign policy is dependent on political party ruling at the time, it’s not possible to maintain continuity.

For example: US has CIA and Pakistan has ISI who ensure their covert policy continues irrespective of electoral process.

The Indian Army is the most battle hardened army in the world where COIN ops are concerned. We've been at it fighting insurgents since the 50s from the East to now for the past more than three decades in the West.

And that is why troops from armies all over the world come to get trained here at the CIJW School. :cool1:

DNA analysis of Indian Army's 'jugaad tantra'
We had three of our own Dobermans in our unit in Kashmir and they were an asset during search ops. They were instrumental in leading us to terrorist hideouts as well as giving chase to terrorists who were trying to escape during encounters.

Dobby, the oldest who was 4 years old was promoted to the rank of Lance Naik for the good work done!! They all wore khaki coats but this guy wore a stripe on each side after his promotion!! :biggrin2:

Like this Bulldog who who got promoted to the rank of corporal....

I don't think it has got anything to do with foreign policy. They just have to take PM in confidence.

one PM Gujral dismantled all of RAW in pakistan. the military didn't even stand by colonel huny bakshi or colonel purohit when they were hounded by urban naxals. indian nat sec just lies down and takes orders from civilian govt instead of growing a spine and conducting operations without the approval of the government of the day. the likes of general rawat and general VK singh are an anomaly in the top echelons of india's military.

This needs to change we need a central thinking body that'll serve India's interest above everything else.

it won't. senior officers in indian military only care about their post-retirement life. its the NCOs and JCOs and a small group of officers who have to give their life at the border. who cares if they die, we want financial security!!!!

^^ If there are, but there aren't any and there would not be any because there is no support for India unlike Pakistanis have for them in the valley. In other terms, India failed or never tried to get the local support in POK.
The sole reason is , Pakistanis have settled the veterans there.
