This is a very worrying trend. JK Police like any other police force is trained to handle normal law and order duties like petty thefts and not a counter insurgency. Moreover most are locals not outsiders. This will make governance harder in Kashmir which will hamper CI ops which are armies/CRPFs domain. What we need is to convert CRPF into a Nazi style SS organization minus the killings off course. The Nazi SS was totally self sufficient and could do law and order duties/CI/ intelligence through its various separate groups. We also need a major expansion in army/CRPF and more coordination between them.
