Is there any use of chemical agents - such as chili grenades or CR/CN gas against jihadis? If so, how come no respirators are issued to RR and army on CI/CT ops?

#BREAKING: Terrorist Shoaib Bhat arrested near Qazigund by J&K Police. One pistol, eight live rounds recovered,

And Tufail Ahmed Mir, a newly recruited terrorist of HuM arrested by Police. Joined HuM only yesterday!! Lol! :pound:
I think he completed his training day before yesterday and got induced into operations.
Otherwise he wouldn't be carrying Pistol.

The best part is, now we will know more about others who might have inducted into operations.

The best part is, his trainers will be really scared and might move to a different location/different training camp.

This is just my assumption. Please feel free to correct me if I've assumed anything wrong.

From recent encounter ...
Sir kindly, I could be asking stupid questions... Please answer them patiently.

1. It is great to know that IA started to destroy Infrastructure instead of losing soldiers (if am not wrong, we've started reusing this tactic).

2. I believe that KV people provide shelter to Jihadi by taking money from ISI, through various handlers. Is army working out from that corner.. i.e., these people might received money from handlers prior week. Catching these handlers might help a lot.

3. Since we've started to destroy these terrorist Infrastructure, do we pay any compensation for the owners from state/central/army funds!? I believe that destroying infrastructure sends a very strong message to other Kashmiri people, could this be a game plan to reduce the support and Infrastructure for terrorists.

4. How army is planning to tackle the stone pelters (Can you pls give me a answer to this...this still remans in answered qn to me)

In new government the Army field commanders have independence to act on their own without fear of demotion or transfer, The mindset is from a defensive to an offensive campaign which means, now we have ability to strike where the infiltration is being supported across the LOC, earlier such an counter attack need dozens of approvals from higher brass and sometime political figures ..

Yes, their is a way to compensate civilians who get in cross fire between terrorists and security forces ..

Their are plenty of things i don`t like to disclosed around or debate on it, But in simple i would recommend to look Army`s tactics in past which are being modified to be used in present situations ..

Massive infighting in Hizbul Mujahideen - Now, terrorists are planning murder of their own team members

Now, it's pretty clear that a massive infighting is going on within the terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen.

Srinagar:

Reportedly, Sabzar Bhat was gunned down Indian Army after a tip-off about his location to police officials by his own team members - Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists.

A new video has been released by three terrorists claiming that Sabzar Bhat was gunned down by security forces after they gave information about Sabzar's location.

The three terrorists claim that whoever will oppose terrorist Zakir Musa will face the same fate as that of Sabzar Bhat.

Sabzar Bhat was killed along with his associate in the encounter in Soimoh area of Tral in Pulwama district.

That's great news! Now one group will rat against the other! Advantage security forces! And with the Hurriyat in disarray, things are looking good!

Good response by the Lt. Gen. Jaswal to the Turkish media person. Very diplomatic and technically sound. He also corroborated what I had suggested earlier:

What happened is not an absolute. It is relative. The alternative would have been for the forces to open fire and would have resulted in deaths and injuries.
It will also save the lives of the stone pelters.

The other practical option is to open fire at the stone pelters, which will cause deaths, which in turn will give people like Geelani talking points.

BTW, I see this is your first post. Welcome to DFI. Please introduce yourself in the introduction thread.

I will praise Turkish media here. Erdogan might be a megalomaniac, but at least their media people are talking about things happening all over the world. Turkey is preparing a ground work in the event it manages to become the leader of the Muslim world. Why do I not see Indian media channels have more elaborate programmes on things happening all around the world? The reason is simple. Indians are obsessed with domestic matters and most people are ignorant about strategic affairs. The media will only sensationalize what they see attracts viewers.

Like Pak, Turkey also is going for all embrace of Sunni/Wahabi Islam. So its natural it will support Pak on Cashmere. Turks have been total supporters of ISIS in Syria...

I entirely agree! Switch to any channel and you'll see worthless debates (I mean slanging matches) raging between morons like a slug fest. For example, yesterday Republic TV had nothing but that nobody called Robert Vadra and his shenanigans the whole frikkin day (and night too) when there were far more important topics like Modi's four nation tour, climate change, Syria and so on. Not a word on this. The same with most other channels too.

WION seems a trifle better, but the best for news and current affairs is the good old Door Darshan! :cool3:

Paki analysts admits ISI responsible for terrorism in India and Afghanistan!

Not that we didn't know but this is from a credible Paki himself, Najam Sethi a Pakistani journalist and a political commentator who serves as the editor-in-chief of The Friday Times and hosts the primetime current affairs show Aapas ki Baat on Geo News. He also served as a caretaker chief minister of Punjab.

So he knows what he's talking about!
