From what I reckon, Maoists/naxals are losing badly...hence more daring/deadly acts. Mostly to up morale of cadres, as they are losing cadres everyday. And yes, any kind of internal war against India has evangelical connection. I dont know why we cant ban such institutions and their work?:tsk:

Ahead of sit-in, Malik arrested, Mirwaiz confined to house

The joint resistance camp has called for a sit-in-cum-seminar at Maisuma here on Monday to highlight the plight of prisoners lodged in various jails.
“Cops raided his residence and arrested him. He was immediately shifted to Central Jail Srinagar. The JKLF Chairman is unwell from last few days because of viral infection and has been arrested in ailing condition,” the spokesman said.
I think the situation is under control in Kashmir. The police allegedly locked up the so called freedom fighters.
@pringles read b/w lines.
Our gov doing right thing. They are locking up all trouble makers in valley.

May be we are getting worked up over some social media trick. They are deliberately releasing few video clips to antagonise us and shape some forced opinion.

Who is this they you refer to?

None less than Army Chief has said that incidents of civilians participating in mob actions and interfering in CT actions is increasing and needs to be dealt with.

'They' refers to Police. Police working with Army. And the situation is relatively under control.

You are saying that police and army are deliberately releasing clips?
Not that one. First they refers to Police. Second one ISI. Sorry for my lazy posting.

ISI might be trying to take advantage of social media to further alienate Kashmir people.

Don't know. I might be overthinking. Too much propaganda these days. Even if Kashmir people are against us, we have to pretend nothing happening over there.

For those who are interested how Naxal work around and understanding their warfare tactics ..
A chunk of Naxal / Maoist literature reads very much like words used by the Chinese backed genocidal Pol Pot regime in Cambodia. Incidentally the Cambodians were (are) very much an Indic people. The inappropriately named Khmer Rouge during their genocide targeted anyone suspected of being literate - e.g. those wearing glasses.

When the Angkor Wat temple complex was rediscovered the surviving Cambodians had no clue about the carvings on the walls - when the Indian ambassador saw them he recognized them as a depiction of the Ram Leela . India subsequently provided funds for restoration of the complex.

The pol pot takeover of Cambodia was of course orchestrated by Kissinger and Nixon by a reckless and genocidal bombing campaign of Cambodia.

Ironically the Khmer were an Indic/Dharmic empire. For Mao to choose the name Khmer Rouge for the genocidal Pol Pot regime was adding insult to injury.

Be it Kashmir or Chattigarh, it seems ROP and ambush of road convoys is our weakest link.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/...imited-toll/articleshow/57611391.cms?from=mdr

The rebels had planned an even worse massacre than the body count of 12, but failed because they could isolate only a small part of the 100-strong CRPF unit, say senior police officers who visited the site near Bhejji, in the Bastar tribal region of Chhattisgarh. It's clear the Maoists closely studied the routine of the CRPF road opening party and chose the ambush site for maximum casualty.

More than 100-odd CRPF personnel of the 219 Battalion leave their post almost every day to carry out area domination marches in an area where a road will be built.

On Saturday, the security forces came under heavy fire from the rebels — the shooting was meant to herd the jawans into the actual kill zones. When the troops rushed into the cover of trees to retaliate, as they are trained to, there were three IED blasts in the sites that offered the best cover, say sources.

We need to counter the blatant brainwash that is going on in our campuses.
Even STEM guys also getting poached by them.

We need to change our education policies and the curricula .Man, so much work.
You can save it only by ammedments in constitution.

The constitution with due respect, has always been used to spread this brainwashing. It is a 130 years old rule book only good for people who lived 100 years back. Now it requires change.

Congress had been blocking such changes for their purpose and advantage now after this victory by bjp. They need to work on many things.

This reminds of Dantewada encounter 2010, we lost 76 CRPF...

I thought we improved our tactics after this attack, but it seems SOPs haven't changed much....

lack of resources is the main cause of these tangoes sneaking through the LOC.

proper surveillance and technology is the root cause of this. The budget has to be managed with limited resources. Otherwise there is no problem.
