ISIS terrorist killed in Lucknow yesterday refused to accept his body saying "a traitor" is no son of theirs.

"One who indulges in anti-national activities can't be my son. Look, someone who's a traitor cannot be our son. It's that straightforward. We will absolutely not accept a traitor's body. He has brought infamy not only to us but to the whole nation, therefore we will not accept his body for last rites" said Sartaj, the alleged terrorist's father, to TOI.

Saifullah was killed in Lucknow this morning in an exchange of fire with the police after a 12-hour stand-off. He was suspected to be linked with the blast in the Bhopal-Ujjain train yesterday, police said.

Sartaj, who lives in Jajamau Tila in Kanpur, said he was shocked to hear about his son's involvement in anti-national activities. Saifullah's sister Zareen also was completely taken aback to hear the news. Both heard this morning that Saifullah was killed in an anti-terror operation, PTI said.

"We are Indians, we were born here, our forefathers were born here and anyone who's a traitor can't be a son or any relation of ours," Sartaj said.

Sartaj said Saifullah left home about two-and-a-half months back after he beat him up for not working. Saifullah apparently told him he wanted to work as a driver in Saudi Arabia.

"On Monday, I got a call from Saifullah, who told me that he had got a visa to visit Saudi (Arabia) and he was preparing to go there. I told him go ahead," the father said.

Saifullah was a commerce graduate of Manohar Lal College in Jajmau.

The fact that NSG was not used and U.P. had its own S.W.A.T team to handle the situation is a good change in Indian counter terrorism handling.

Local UP police did a fine fine job but I do wish the NSG had been called in, killing terrorists is their job and they need to get as much experience as possible.

Do you really think isis is alone planting these modules? Off course isi is boss of terror franchise from India to south east asia.

These terror outfit names are just to confuse people, agencies know isis or isi or jem etc are all same under one manager called pakistan (because only they have assets in the name peaceful religion).

At first they were called SWAT by UP police,but later on they realized everyone else has cool name like Force one ,Octopus,etc so they named it ATS commando.

But ATS is a seperate thing- most states now have an Anti Terror Squad, mostly they are made up of detectives, some have specialist reponse units under them. So in UP is the ATS in charge of this specialist team or are they two seperate things?

Maybe you mean are they exclusive to ATS as FBI HRT to FBI ,as far as I know they are headed by IG ATS .Does UP police have other SWAT teams
other than these guys,this is not clear to me.

I think these guys are deployed similar to force one,chetak commando and forces of other state,as a crack team of police,under ATS.

I know your main query is whether they can be deployed for tactical operation other than related to terrorism,my guess is yes.
