any way m4s are a choice considering their bad reputation and sf could have upgraded ak or vzs with modern stock considering the ct ops where m43 rounds score better than nato rounds

Could have been, But as IA see they can spend lot on PARA SF devlopment and training, They are issueing what best suits them, M4 is not very good Rifle considering it jams in water and sand, HK offer better as Some US units too using Hk instead of M4..

Whatever, Better than nothing, M4 for those who prefer traditional deign..

The person need permission from Unit & Command and MOD..

Standard Rifle is issued to all, Though it can be changed on request with a good reason..
