I first saw their promo on YT or was it Twitter exactly 4 yrs ago. How can they still be prototyping after all this time ?
The Saudis also own stakes in Rivian, Lucid. Lucid is also gonna setup a factory in Saudi Arabia. How tf does that qualify as a scam??
They don't have anything. They showed protorype 3 yr back and still they are just in development stage.

They don't have a factory where they can build a CAR assembly line.

Their head office is no factory where any kind of vehicle can be built.

Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday said a US court has allowed its subsidiary to keep producing and selling the post-2020 version of its off-road vehicle Roxor in the American market. The Eastern District Court of Michigan on July 19, 2023, issued its opinion and order on Fiat Chrysler Automobile's (FCA's) renewed motion to enjoin the Post-2020 Roxor and based on its analysis declined to apply the safe distance rule to this case as sought by FCA, Mahindra & Mahindra said in a regulatory filing.

Looks like mukesbhai himself is following screwdrivergiri. Buy half a dozen tech companies specialising in hydrogen fuel cell, buy related stuff from those companies he doesn't own, localise production of few components & declare Make in India (MiI) . Beats me why did Mercedes Benz partner him.

daimler already has a presence in India, Bharat Benz.
and daimler has been relying on local partnerships for a long time in India, which is a better strategy than what muricans tried to do with GM.

mota bhai has already said they are going to invest in hydrogen in his last share holder's meeting.

That is bharat benz buses. They are manufactured in Oragadam, Chennai for long time. Also 3-4 years back when Reliance purchased an Fuel Cell tech company. Looks like they are finally building a new platform where the tech will come from Reliance while the vehicle is from Bharat benz.

From Auto expo 2023 to till now.
1. Tata - cummins - H2 ICE Engine.
2. AL - H2 ICE Engine
3. Bharat Benz - Fuel Cell (Tech from Reliance)

Looks like large commercial vehicles in India going through H2 Tech.

Yes Daimler has a presence & relies on local vendors in India & Reliance is aiming to be to hydrogen cell powered vehicles in India ( to begin with) what CATL is to China & the world in Lithium Ion Phosphate Battery systems but my larger point is have they shifted all the labs of the companies they've taken over to India?

Have they genuinely started mfg in India & if so where is their plant & assembly lines or is it merely ToT from those foreign acquisitions in SKD format & screw driver giri out here?

I ask for UK had prohibited tech from Jaguar & Land Rover to be absorbed by Tata Motors though to what extent were these tech prohibited & its duration is unknown.

There is no specific restriction levied on JLR Tech.
Exact Answer: You cannot take out tech from JLR and utilize them in Tata vehicles. JLR is a Luxury brand while Tata is targeted towards to Middle class folks like us. Except the D8 Platform we cannot leverage the JLR platform for our market.

JLR plants: 5 in UK, 1 in India and 1 in China. Tata bought the company and does not done any changes to operations. So still JLR is the major automobile brand for UK. Thus Tata is getting a lot of SOPs to continue production there. China -- Big market for JLR but now struggling I believe.

Tata never used the ingenium engines for Safari and Harrier. Except the 1.2 GDI and 1.5 GDI I dont think tata will going to develop engines anymore. Maybe the JLR team may have helped them to develop the new ones for TATA.

So the cross sharing is very limited and whatever required TATA utilized for our market.

Very strange quiz, all you need to do is match the emblem nicely placed at the top of the page. The question asked doesn't even matter.

Bajaj Auto to set up first overseas manufacturing facility in Brazil

https://auto.economictimes.indiatim...as-manufacturing-facility-in-brazil/102259204

Bajaj Auto, India's largest exporter of motorcycles and three-wheelers, is setting up its first overseas manufacturing plant in Brazil through its wholly owned subsidiary "Bajaj Do Brasil".

Executive director Rakesh Sharma said local presence in Brazil, Latin America's biggest two-wheeler market, will help Bajaj Auto gain insights into product development and customer behavior and strengthen its presence in the region.

Pune-based Bajaj Auto has presence in more than 90 countries, where it follows a distribution-led model - the company's distribution partners manage local operations, including assembly.

The initial capacity of the proposed Brazil plant, which is likely to come up in Manaus Special Economic Zone in northern Brazil, will be 20,000 units per month, Sharma said, adding that the unit is likely to commence production in the next 12 months.

In addition to Bajaj models, the proposed Brazil facility will also produce the motorcycles of Austrian company KTM AG, in which Bajaj Auto has 48% stake.

Bajaj Auto also has a global alliance with UK-based motorcycle maker Triumph for co-developing middle-weight motorcycles. The latter already has a manufacturing presence in Brazil.

Tata Motors is on roll!

Launched twin cylinder CNG version for :

1. Tiago
2. Tigor
3. Punch
4. Altroz

In Future the new Nexon might also get the twin cylinder CNG setup.

Maruti should learn from Tata on this. All CNG version of Maruti cars are practically without boot.

This guy is going full Elon Musk. From emulating him on twitter and now making bikes that are as low poly and uninspired as the cybertruck.
