Do you know what the so-called Indian-made 125mm shells are?
It's actually an Israeli CL3254M made in India.
CL 3254M urgently imported from Israel IMI during the Kargil conflict
India is produced in the form of assembly, but the quality has not met the standard for a long time. The first batch of more than 15,000 rounds failed the quality inspection. By 2010, the Indian media said that more than 45,000 domestically produced rounds had been idle, and the imported originals did not appear in the spot check. Quality issues
Therefore, the Indian army has always only used more than 46,000 rounds imported from the original factory. , Indians claim around 500mm
2010 was 12 years ago ... Things have moved ahead a lot .. Go back through this tread there are locally made T 72 gun barrels which accept higher chamber pressure than the originals.
And there are all new rounds developed.

Tank warfare is going to loose its much sheen in next 5 years as top attacking missiles both hand held and UAV fired missiles become greater lethal. Already in Ukraine the Russians are learning the hard way. The Turkish UAV as well as Chinese anti tank missiles are in Pakistani hands or will soon be hence it is only matter of time that these pose great danger.
tanks will get better as their counter measures get better . Tank will never loose it's relevance in the modern Battlefield

what the heck?
The best in India is 3BM42, at most 460-500RHA
Only T90 can be used,
As for T72, only 3BM32 can be used
,Because only the 2A46M5 artillery uses the chamber pressure self-tightening technology,
3BM42 can also be used from a T72 because we have replaced the barrels of our T72s with those used in T90s Under a deal signed in 2013 .

That's why APS is so important for every type of ground vehicle. And top-attack munitions just require a hemispherical sensor coverage & efficient algorithms.
It is a mystery why Russians have suffered such heavy losses. They have manpads & Pantsir AAA+SAM which can easily shoot down even RC drones, then medium sized Bayraktar UAVs shouldn't have been a problem at all.

Tanks are not going anywhere, they are here to stay.

Russian are suffering heavy losses because of logistical reason and actionable intelligence provided by US to Ukrainian.

US is playing at a different level when it comes to ISR.

I never said tanks are past. A good APS & situational awareness will fail actionable intel also.
But logistical reasons, getting stuck in mud, running out of fuel, etc also count in bad calculations & decisions.

Which APU does Arjun MBT use? And why couldn’t the same one be adapted and modified for use on the T90 Bhishma’s and T72s?

I am curious as to what the interior look like inside the new Panther tank.
Internal configuration is most likely very similar to Leopard 2, with a slightly re-designed turret. The turret seems to be a further iteration of that found in the proposed Rhinemetal Challenger 2 upgrade, with a slight flavour of their Lynx KF-41 turret.

Got any pics so I can get a visualization of what the interior looks like?
