It's either russian or Israeli transferred to the DRDO and the reason why contract was given to nobody like this company is because dalal's in govt and military are involved and want to make money for themselves and there foreign backers.
Bullshit no one will transfer such technology these all rounds are developed by drdo and IPR is owned by them. Regarding private company army wants to end monopoly of OFB.

Are they developing a new 125 mm ammo or are they just manufacturing from tech transferred from drdo or ofb.either way taking manufacturing away from ofb is good in the long run for our ammo supply situation in terms of cost and availability.

Without new gun and autoloader that's impossible.I think this ammunition contract to Oshocorp is part of the same 600-800 mm RHA penetration 125 mm ammo that is being developed as part of T-90 and T-72 upgradation project. This is developed by DRDO under Make In India project and technology transferred.

Read properly I think that they have modified auto loader and barrel.
Change in barrel metallurgy and design as well as alteration to autoloader, CLM etc. is already mentioned in the doccument (Table 3(b) iv & v).
They haven't modified anything. Current autoloader can not accommodate bigger rounds. you need to change whole autoloader with new gun to achieve that 800mm DOP. it is as you said , this ammo is probably 125mm MK2 APFSDS with mango M level DOP.
600mm to 800mm in phases as mentioned. as said without changing autoloader and new gun it's impossible.
So there will be a new barrel and autoloader...
Yes if you want greater DOP , in this case 800mm. There is no way around it for APFSDS.
