Ok, saw a few sites... It does have to do with the hardpoint limit.

LCH has a quad launcher planned for the inner hardpoints only, outer hardpoints gets a twin launcher. ALH-WSI has a much lesser hardpoint limit than LCH

Perhaps IAF thinks that Quad launchers are over requirement..

Weight is not an issue, As we can design the hard-points to accommodate such weights..

@Kunal Biswas Why not go for the Hellfire?? Its the best Anti-Armour missile for Helis.

Cause we have Helina... a bit heavier than hellfire, but with marginally better range and payload than hellfire.
