btw will those LUH be armed like the Bell OH-Kiowa helicopters of the U.S. Army?
Will Indian Army buy CAS Aircraft similar to A-10A or Su-25 ?
IMO in the next 10 years IA shall be going for UAVs for the CAS kind of mission requirement.Not now, first Army have to get its combat helos, then in future it shall..

Which one is more effective in which CAS situation? Attack Helos or Turbofan Crafts?
KB! On 24th of this month there was a documentary on Discovery Channel on Indian UAV program & it said that Rustom-2 is going to have at least 350 kg payload.That is true and hope Rustom-2/H could carry Small ( 250kg ) LGB ..
============================
Both are in different situations..
Some small precision munitions can be developed for the UAV purpose.
Though Rustom-II is can operate at the altitude of 50,000 ft like MQ-9 Reaper but it's payload is very less because it's engine may be of only 120 hp compare to 950shp of Reaper.Yeah, Sure but that wont the process is very slow and 350kg is lot less, Specially when situation is to drop LGB at Kargil heights..
Sir, I wanted to know in which type of scenarios is an attack helo ideal and for which scenarios Turbofan Crafts would be ideal...Both are in different situations..
==================================KB , is there any UAV with some Gatling kind of Gun?

According to Army :
Helicopter Gunship : In Urban area for precision strike, Tank and Infantry hunt over open terrain, Mountain areas where are small helipads and nearest Airbases is 50-100kms away, Against exposed enemy installations without Manpads and AAA..
Turbo-prop / Fan : High altitude recon, High altitude surgical strikes ( away from Manpad & AAA fire ), or cluster bomb / neapham drop over exposed enemy..
