The Garuda 105 with automatic gun laying and an autoloader is the ideal shoot and scoot Himalayan rat. Crew won't even have to come out to setup. Have a light vehicle with a drone jammer follow it to counter loitering munitions.Ukraine war has de-emphasized the need for fixed artillery. Now emphasis is on highly mobile artillery with quick shoot and scoot capability. On top of large scale availability of flying drones with AI capability has made artillery very vulnerable.
Hence truck mounted artillery is need of the day. I hope Indian effort to mount ATAGS on a truck succeeds. It can fire a volley and four minutes later, it is gone. That is a great advantage.
