First two systems in the video are Pinaka MBRLs, while the last one was Grad MBRL.
No Pinakas in this vid, all are BM21 Grad, looks like IA have given them new trucks.

The weight of the gun seems to be weirdly pivoted "behind" the truck!!! Doesn't seem like an efficient way to move!!
I deduce this is for "display' purposes only. This cannot be a prototype!
You're wrong, there is nothing wrong with the CG of the truck, It's an early protoype and it will be refined in time no doubt.

This is a pretty standard design feature, CASAR 8X8:

6X6:

The TATA truck you've shown is for an entirely different gun (from DENEL) so will obviously have a different approach.

The current DRDO model *looks* a little too much behind (compared to CAESAR).
What is definitely & clearly problematic is that the supporting/recoil legs are too close to the ground. It'll be problematic on rough terrain.

Not sure what you're talking about. I didn't post any Tata truck

Seen in final Indian Army skin for the 1st time, an L&T-Hanwha Techwin K9 Vajra-T 155mm gun. First 10 ready for delivery soon. Seen here during final integration at L&T Hazira, Gujarat facility.

It warms my heart to see the artillery of the Indian Army finally getting updated which was in shambles due to the Bofors fiasco

New Assembly lines are always like that. Look at them after 5 years.
Assembly lines can get dirty. But atleast workers should have PPE like helmets and steel plates shoes. OFB workers are usually seen working in chappals.

10 K9 VAJRA-T set for Deliveries to Indian Army: L&T – Indian Defence Research Wing
2-3 minutes
SOURCE: RAUNAK KUNDE / NEWS BEAT / IDRW.ORG

Larsen & Toubro Limited, formally confirmed that first batch of 10 K9 VAJRA-T 155 mm, 52 calibre Tracked Self Propelled (SP) gun is set to be delivered to Indian Army Soon as per schedule. Engineering Giant Larsen and Toubro developed K9 VAJRA-T jointly with South Korean defense major Hanwha Techwin (HTW) which was based on their K9 Thunder.

The first batch of 10 K9 VAJRA-T guns was directly brought from South Korea and then locally assembled in greenfield manufacturing line at Hazira, Gujarat of L&T and later remaining 90 guns will be manufactured at the same facility and full order will be completed within next 3 years.

The K9 VAJRA-T gun is an enhanced version of HTW’s K9 Thunder which is known as one of the best performing self- propelled howitzers in the world. L&T and Hanwha Techwin might use same facilities to also export K9 VAJRA-T to other countries.

L&T will also be in charge of providing life support of K9 VAJRA-T to the Indian army for next few decades to come. K9 VAJRA-T will have over 50 percent of the indigenous sourced content.

Interestingly Indian Public sector Company OFB is also working to develop its own Tracked Self Propelled (SP) gun based on its Dhanush Gun. OFB already has showcased first prototype of 155 mm/52 Dhanush Truck Mounted based Howitzer recently which it has developed under separate program . OFB plans to pitch both its Tracked and Wheeled self-propelled artillery based on Dhanush Gun to Indian Army .
