It is not a car to fix the dents and start flying again. It is a common habit in India to fix cars that have been damaged but the same can't be done for a plane. Aerodynamics and structural integrity is important. Also, the main part - Engine and radar seems to have been damaged. These are the ones that cost the most. In addition, there is major costs involved in opening up the entire plane, checking for each component, ordering the damaged ones and then fitting them back with new parts. It is better to simply cannibalise the working parts, avionics, pylons etc
