I love the C-17. Looks neat, and has the McDonnel Douglas aura (yeah, I know it is Boeing now).

That is a MI-24, Not IAF MI-25/35..

Note the landing gear are fixed not retractable as on IAF MI-25/35..

Does Indian Air Force have this helicopter? It looks like the Mil-28N Havoc.

Non-retractable landing gear, the X shaped tail rotor, and the downward exhaust:

Mi-28 - Military Photos Images Pictures Discussion

I guess we should simply move this to Awsome Military Photos thread, as it is not an IAF helo.
its surely not Mi-28.

Reason, Bubble shaped cockpits typical of Mi-24/35
Mi-28 is known as Mickey mouse because of shape of its nose.
lMi-24/35 is much larger and note the position of wings to load bombs is quite similar to Mi-24/35.
its surely the newer and upgraded Mi-24/35

You are right. I didn't notice the cockpits. I was looking at the X-rotor. Now I recall some older Mil-24/35 helos were upgraded with main and tail rotors from the Mil-28. Also, the landing gear is retractable, but is not retracted. That also confused me.

Sharp eyes.

You are right. @Kunal Biswas, you were right too.

the landing gear is not retracted because its in standing or stationary position...
