5 prototypes are now with iaf for testing and it is expected to get IOC before 2012 so that it can be produced atleast 20 per year

Natrajan...have you noticed one thing.....check paint scheme of LCA in all photographs posted in this thread. Seems there are more number of LCAs. Hope they dont change the paint scheme everyday.

The HUD seems to be very intrusive to the pilot's view.

Also the cockpit avionics has like 5 different digital screens. Does anyone know how this compares to other modern fighters.

It certainly does not seem to be very pilot friendly !!
