Pakistan Stock Exchange experiences bloodbath, benchmark sheds 937 points in intra-day trading

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), a day after the government announced a $6bn International Monetary Fund (IMF) package, experienced a bloodbath on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Shares Index shedding 937 points — a loss of more than 2.7 per cent — during intra-day trading.

Booootiful!!!
Pakistan is in the terminal phase of its life. The British empire experiment of Pakistan has clearly failed.
KSE is on its journey to zero. The drops will continue.

Great time to drop some CBU-105s in there.
That would be a very bad idea.

That weapon is specifically designed to be used on armour in a CAS role. Hence the weapon is designed to "Disable" the enemy units, while the land elements moves and finishes them off.

Used standalone, they can just replace the engine block and they are back in action. Those bomblets don't pen so high to defeat >400mm of rha. They go for the easy kill.

Yemenis with AKs and RPGs made a mockery of Saudi Forces. Bombing civilians is all they are good for.

Destroying Missile Arsenal, when and where? It didn't work in Iraq and it won't work in Iran.
America will not engage on ground till trump is there but will resort to full throttle bombing once it decide to destroy Iran. And that will be enough.

Saudi will send their hired porks or other mullahs to do the dirty job . Their loss is insignificant for them .

As I said problem will come later once Iran start sending out jehadis and rehabilitation of Iranians which will be a burden on USA too.

‘No evidence of Easter attacks suspects having travelled to India’
However, official Indian sources said the Army Commander had not shared any information with them.

“We are seeking further information to probe the angle,” a source said, asking not to be identified due to the sensitivity of ongoing investigations. The reference to suspects travelling to India recently was at best “speculative”, the source added.

Srilanka shouldnt be sooo quick to point finger at India because of the chinese debts

Retired Pakistani officers behind ‘fake news’

Hyderabad: An independent social media tracking operation that commenced after the February 26 Balakot air strikes has found that there are at least eight Twitter handles that pose to be ‘independent observers’ behind Pakistani defence lines but are spreading unconfirmed news, many at times fake.

It was from these handles that fake reports on the death of Jaish-e-Mohammed Masood Azhar originated, besides the alleged Indian attacks on Fort Abbas and Sialkot in Pakistan.

An investigation by ‘GreatgameIndia’, based in Hyderabad, found a couple of these handles being managed by social media intelligence (Socintel) operators under the guidance of retired Pakistani generals.

On March 2, the Twitter handles put out reports saying Masood Azhar had been killed in the Balakot air strikes. The ‘story’ was picked up by many media houses who quoted “top intel sources”.

The source of the story was later detected to be a blogpost, ‘Masood Azhar is DEAD: Confirmed; along with a top rank former ISI officer’, which was originally floated by the website ‘Times Prime’.

Another instance was the fake news that the Indian Air Force had carried out another air strike, this time across the international border near Fort Abbas in the Cholistan desert in Pakistan’s Bahawalpur district.

The information was spread by a handle F Jeffery (timestamp 4.01 pm, March 4). India denied the report.

On the day of the air strikes, a Twitter handle reported artillery firing from across the Line of Control in Sialkot. Mr Shelley Kasli, co-founder of GreatgameIndia, said, “We began tracking certain suspicious Twitter handles after the Pulwama attack. They remained low until the Balakot air strikes. The morning after, loads of (unconfirmed) information was being pumped in through these shady networks, posing as neutral observers from behind enemy lines.”

Mr Kasli said, “Certain Indian journalists interacted with these handles and the information was reported by their media houses quoting ‘top intel sources’. When their followers flagged them on Twitter regarding the suspicious nature of the information the journalists were forced to change the line.”

“These are not just random false alarms or over-enthusiastic tweeting, considering it was a sustained effort after Balakot. It is seen that this is primarily been done to create an environment of confusion and chaos, to escalate tensions between India and Pakistan and India and China,” Mr Kasli said.

A Twitter handle, ‘KashmiriIntel’, was spreading such information on threats to national security, that the Army complained to Twitter, which subsequently blocked it. The information, regarding by the Army as harmful to the country, is being spread by another handles.

On the claim that certain handles were managed by retired Pak generals, the investigators found that the account Faran Jeffery, who purported to be a neutral observer, was deputy director and head of the South Asia desk at the Islamic Theology of Counter Terrorism, a think tank headquartered in London. What is not mentioned is that he is associated with a Pakistani national security think tank called CommandEleven.

“CommandEleven is a Pakistani propaganda outfit created and directed by retired Pakistan Generals specialised in information warfare. Its new website https://www.commandeleven.com is down since the Pulwama attack,” Mr Kasli said.

He said India was the target of sophisticated information warfare. “In the words of Lieutenant General H.S. Panag (retired) we lost the perception war in the first 60 hours. A huge chunk of the information originated from CommandEleven,” said Mr Kasli.

Remember the discussions we were having about paki twitter handles spreading chaos, someone wrote an article on it...yup, Jeffery is also in the list...

I would like to first of all thank @DarshitM86 for bringing this to light. It was his original tweet from where I got an idea about all this. Credit belongs to him and of course all of us, having been able to nab such elements early on.

Post-Balakot strikes, Indian Army to move air defence units closer to Pakistan border
New Delhi [India], May 14 (ANI): After a deep internal review of the recent conflict with Pakistan, the Indian Army is planning to deploy a number of its air defence units close to the border to thwart aerial threats emanating from Pakistan.

"Some of the fighting formations including air defence and other defensive formations are now planned to be moved closer to the borders," top Army sources told ANI.
"With these air defence units deployed closer to the border, we would be able to tackle any possible aerial strike from enemy side and thwart it close to the border itself," they said.
The sources said the location of the air defence units deployed in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Gujarat and Rajasthan were reviewed by the force and it was felt that a number of them can be moved to forward locations to thwart enemy aerial strikes close to the borders itself.

The air defence assets of the Indian Army include the indigenous Akash air defence missile systems along with the Russian Kvadrat and other old legacy systems. The force is also set to receive the latest MR-SAM air defence system which has been produced by the DRD-Israel joint venture.
After India hit the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist training camp in Balakot town of Khyber Pakhtunwa province of Pakistan, the neighbouring country launched a big aerial attack in Jammu sector along the Line of Control.
Even though the attack was thwarted by the Air Force air defence fighters including the MiG-21s and the Su-30MKIs and one Pakistani F-16 was also shot down, it was felt that presence of air defence units in the area could have caused more damage to the Pakistanis.
Due to the aggressive response of the Air Force, the Pakistanis could come only a couple of kilometres inside the Indian territory.

The Pakistani air attack on February 27 was in response to the Balakot hits by the Indian Air Force a day earlier. (ANI)

Sri Lankan software engineer, under Indian surveillance, key in Easter attack
Four sources in Sri Lankan investigating agencies said they believed Aadhil Ameez, a 24-year-old, was the link between two groups that carried out the attacks on churches and hotels that killed more than 250 people and wounded hundreds more.

Aadhil has been arrested and is in police custody, the sources said. His arrest has not been made public, but when asked by Reuters, Ruwan Gunasekera, the main spokesman for the Sri Lankan police, confirmed Aadhil was taken into custody on April 25, four days after the attacks.
