Operation ‘Zer Pahazag’ concluded with all aims achieved: BLA
“More than 40 soldiers, several foreign and local investors killed. The early announcement of ending the operation was through a strategy to cause more damage to the military”, said Jeehand Baloch.
Jeehand Baloch, the spokesperson of Baloch Liberation Army stated that the ‘Operation Zer Pahazag’ was commenced on the information of the presence of large number Chinese and local investors at the PC hotel and our aim was to target all the investors, Engineers along with other representatives of exploitative projects and destroy the PC hotel which is a symbol of Baloch exploitation.
“ ‘Operation Zer Pahazag’ was carried out by self-sacrificing fighters of BLA’s Majeed Brigade. Who achieved all the aims and targets in their 24-hours-long battle, and finally sacrificed themselves with their own bullets instead of surrendering before the army”, added Jeehand Baloch.
Jeehand Baloch further stated that BLA’s four fighters faced Pakistan army’s three battalions of FF 21-35-46, Battalion 25 of Sindh regiment, two wings of Frontier Corps 133-88, navy seals and SSG commandos of Zarrar and Qarrar companies. As a result, battle prolonged for more than 24 hours, and they killed more than 40 soldiers including two captains and several other commissioned officers.
He said that BLA fighters also shot down a spy drone hovering over the building and damaged the port with rockets, and a large part of the hotel was also destroyed.
Spokesperson further said that BLA operatives were in contact with their leaders and they had strategically announced the end of the operation which helped their fighters causing further damages to the forces. As per the statement, BLA refrains from releasing further details due to the continuation of the other parts of the operation.
Jeehand Baloch also criticized Pakistani media and alleged that they are on Pakistan army’s payroll, and covering the reality on their orders. They asked journalists to contact Baloch media to find out the reality or BLA’s own media wing ‘Hakkal’.
“DG ISPR thanked Pakistani media online, which is a clear statement of how they worked together to cover up their losses”, said Jeehand Baloch.
In the reaction of the UN’s condemning statement, Jeehand Baloch said that UN’s response undoubtedly represented ‘face-saving’ and ‘running from reality’. Our attack was defensive and in the reaction against the oppression and cruelties that inflicted upon us by the foreigners. The only thing to condemn here is China and Pakistan’s exploitation, killing of thousands of innocent Baloch men, women and children, the forced migration of our people and more than forty thousand enforced disappearances. We are defending our people, and the UN must take notice of foreign oppression on our people.
Jeehand baloch said that once again we warn China to stop her exploitative projects in Balochistan and do not support Pakistan in the genocide of Baloch people, otherwise, we would respond with more attacks.
The spokesperson said that BLA pays rich tributes to Martyr Hammal Baloch, Asad Baloch, Kachkol and Mansab Baloch. They will always be remembered for their bravery and valour, they sacrificed their self for their nation and put effort to strengthen Majeed Brigade for future.
