But one thing I am not getting why there is no video evidence of F-16 except a single video in which two pilots are seen ejected. In the world of smartphones, why there is no video of downed F-16 from Sabazkot. And what kind of international constraints are stopping us from saying anything about Muzaffarabad and Chakothi air strikes?
This is pure luck on pakis part. F 16 crashed in no man's land while paki population was purely fixated on parachutes in the sky dangling like a fruit. Paki SSG would have been placed in villages closer to LoC before PAF mission.

I assume that PA noticed paki flag on crashed jet and sealed off the perimeter. Paki ground radars and AWACS were also keeping tabs on jets status and may have diverted their crack teams asap.

Just like balakot, local Abduls were slapped, their phones snatched and internet suspended.

But I do believe that there is couple of videos of downed f16 that will surface after end of hostilities.

First of all no "official" source has confirmed strikes in Muzaffarabad and Chakothi. Till there is an official confirmation, this remains in the realm of speculation.

Second is mobile video. Soldiers have guns in their hands not mobiles. India has already shared radar returns which is adequate.

The videos you are referring to are civilian videos taken by villagers on Pakistan side.

Mobile videos are poor quality as distance is a major factor.
I was referring to the civilian videos. There were so many videos recorded by civilians when mig fell down but not a single one of F-16

Doval already had blessings of Bolton for a go ahead so we definitely have caused the damage but they did win the perception battle
Clouds are getting cleared, they didn't win the perception battle, not yet.
They were quick to create a narrative, I acknowledge, but couldn't sustain it for a long period. Three/Two pilots in custody shit,Jaba Top access denial etc are actually a dent to their own credibility.
So, I believe they DIDN'T win the perception battle decisively. I'd call it a tie.
Military Ops, we definitely achieved our goal.
So, India- 2, Pak- 0
I give 0 to Pak coz apart frm the fact that they are actually worth it, they didn't achieve their objective to do a successful offensive against IAF the ensuing day. On the other hand,we were successful both on Offensive front(Balakot) and Defensive(Rajouri/Poonch).

Likely censored. Pakistan is very good in propaganda. India is a beginner in this area.

In the eyes of common people, we have lost the perception battle because we on defence forum know that we won but if you go outside and ask any Autowala he says why we didn't retaliate after 27.

We are not a beginner, we have a dedicated psychological warfare cell in R&AW since 1971 but Pakistan is better at it. They are very strong in psy war that they were able to start two big insurgencies in India- Khalistani during 80's and kashmiri since 90s.

Bhai, even we don't know if we retaliated after 27th. Do we?
Once the dust settles, we'll know how we extracted revenge for their 27th raid.
As per all the sources, Ops are still goin on.
Common man doesn't know the difference between LC and IB. They are innocent ppl who are more dedicated to work hard to make ends meet. Once we get to know things after end of hostilities, we'll build a comprehensive summary of timeline to explain the common man wat happened after 27th,the repercussions Pakis faced etc.
So don't worry abt public opinion.

I guess information will come out at the right time. It is a shadow war. You will not get live commentary.

True.. also the cost that pakistan is paying for having a dedicated psy op war cell is that the extensive usage of these cells frequently on their own citizens has ensured that their civilian institutions never got strengthened.

long term effects are not good for pakistan as a nation.

He said PAF targeted four targets out of which ammunition depot was also there. There was also an intersting question put up by journalist Hamid Mir, he asked whether IA chief was there present or not in the brigade headquater, then Gafoora gives hint that Northern Command chief was present there.

One most imp. thing he said sarcastically, why you(INDIA) not retaliated after 27 Feb"
What's clear from several articles is that although 10 of 11 H-4 bombs failed to hit their targets.. One did explode inside the Brigade hq, wherein there were several officers at the time.

Precisely wat I pointed out. Dunno why many ppl were worried abt the so called Perception Battle which basically stemmed frm paid Paki propaganda.
Our motto is Satyameva Jayate. Truth Alone Triumps- in the end.
These chest beatings frm Ghafoora and his ilk will not help them repair their ailing economy.

One thing is clear from recent conferences of Gafoora that PA and PAF are highly demotivated. PAF is demotivated due to F-16 loss and PA due to PTM movement. He said R&AW is totally involved in their funding with the support of NDS.
PTM is no terrorist organisation.. It is a peaceful movement... So... Gaffoora's accusations do not carry any significance..

India all set to have Defence Cyber Agency next month to tackle hackers; Rear Admiral Mohit Gupta to head service
India Asian News International Apr 30, 2019 13:48:43 IST

Rear Admiral Mohit Gupta. ANI

"We are working to raise the Defence Cyber Agency in May itself. The work has almost been completed. A new building has been hired in the national capital which will act as the headquarters of the formation," sources in the Defence Ministry said.

As agreed upon by the Defence Ministry and the three services, the cyber agency would be headed by Rear Admiral Gupta. The Navy is expected to announce his formal appointment anytime, sources said.

DCA is one of the three agencies along with the Special Forces and Space to be set up as per the clearance given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Combined Commanders' Conference in Jodhpur in 2018.

The DCA will include a lot of existing capability with the armed forces for tackling threats in the cyber domain and will also have the elements of DRDO working in it, sources said.

While the Cyber agency is ready to be launched with its headquarters in New Delhi, the setting up of the Space agency will take some time as the structure for it is still being discussed.

The Special Forces agency would be headed by a Major General rank officer of the Army and is likely to come up at Agra, which already has a Para brigade and the wherewithal to airlift Special Forces operatives in large numbers as the base co-exists with an IAF transport aircraft squadron specialising in these operations.

One of the top Army officers, Eastern Army Commander Lt Gen MM Naravane had recently stated that the units of the Cyber agency will be spread across the country.

“There will be units or cells or dedicated officers at every headquarter to deal with the aspect of cyber security,” he had said.

According to defence sources, almost on a daily basis, efforts are made by hackers, especially from Pakistan and China to break into the military systems to steal information and create disruption.

The tri-services Integrated Defence Staff is also holding an exercise with NTRO, RAW, National Security Council and DRDO where cyber attacks would be launched on critical military infrastructure and the authorities concerned would thwart them using their tools and skills in the domain.

one thing pakis did manage to do is they managed to confuse the hell out of everybody, using their friendlies in western media and on SM.

On our side too seeds of confusion were sown by our journalists also.
1) Srinagar based reporter Mufti islah misidentifying crashed Mi-17 as a plane.
2) Rahul kanwal reporting Su-30 downed up until the afternoon.
3) ANI creating hell of a confusion my misidentifying pics of Mig-21 fuselage as F-16.

Only people who were in control of what they were saying were our forces, they spoke less but were consistent.
