Security forces unearthed a militant hideout in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday and recovered huge quantity of incriminating material, police said. Acting on credible inputs, a joint team of police and security forces unearthed the hideout in Manduna.village in Koil area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district, a police spokesman said.

Let us please separate two issues.
The only link between Ordinance Factories and Armed Forces is that they come under Ministry of Defence.

Let us resolve whether Armed Forces exist to ensure existence of Ordinance Factories and their employee or the defence of the country.

Not at all !!

Ordinance Factories have not only let down the Armed Forces but DRDO also by producing very substandard stuff. such as INSAS. OFB is singularly responsible for failures of many DRDO invented systems.

It is true that OFs have let down Armed Forces in many occasions but it is also true that the pace of modernization of OFs were not upto the date ... so there will be quality issues of the products ...

My point is let us modernize the OFs to the western standards such that they are capable of producing quality equipment required by armed forces...

OFs need modern tooling for quality products ...

Why should be MoD be making shoes, laces, stitching uniforms, web equipment, mosquito nets, swords, knives, rotten WWI stuff like Shaktiman etc etc - through Ordnance Factories?

OK make it and sell it in the market.

Sir, I will not be wrong to say when the OFs started making those shoes, uniforms, Shaktiman trucks some 50 years or more ... back then no private organization came forward to invest ...

At this point, they have seen it all. And it always ends the same way no matter what system they adopt. Problem is not the system, it's the PA's obsession with Kashmir and Islam. Remove that and their country will flourish.

Remove that and India will have Durand line as it's western border instead of the Radcliffe!!!

Actually IK was shit scared of the impending attack by Indians either through missile or IAF ... IK was looking for any such straw to cling and avert the bombing ... Western countries also advised IK for immediate release of Abhi ...
