Clarity is definitly needed. What we need to do is trust our Armed forces. They are immensely capable. Remember Pakistan Army is easily defeatable. But, NYTimes is the official spokesperson of US State department(inspite of it's anti-trump views). They are a different kettle of fish.

As far as the information i have from few people Paki are trying to alter the LoC and trying to take over few of our post or Empty post and there is serious clash going over this for last 10 days .

It is hurting their overflight revenues (not a single Europe-ASEAN, MENA-ASEAN flight, is flying over pakiland). Even their buddies THY (Turkish) are feeling the pinch of having to divert to get to ASEAN.

Also, thanks to spiraling fuel rationing, their air-fares have shot up 150% over the past month. Ours are largely flat.

Air India is state-owned, and this situation only makes it easier for them to get a blank cheque bailout.

At the end of the day, we can afford the economic damage they're throwing at us. They can't afford what we're throwing at them. We're a $3 trillion economy that's now 11 times the size of the paki economy.

Pakis are still under the delusion that the Indian economy is only 4-5 times theirs.

Lessons for India to learn from last month:
1. Either completely destroy the target or prepare for enemy denials and the doubts of today’s media. No reason not to use devastating bombs on the targets that the world can see from the moon.
2. Day 1 is the best day to deliver the ultimate blow to the enemy. After that fog of war and restraints come in to play.
3. IAF has lost edge over PAF when comes to A2A combat. AMRAAM is the most potent A2A missile at present in the Indian subcontinent. Time to expedite both iDerby-ER and Meteor integration.
4. Stealth aircraft have role to play in future warfares. Next time India wants to strike back, the stakes will be really high and surprise won’t come easy. Time to invest in F-35 or similar tech.
5. Information warfare is as important as real one. Plan ahead for the fallout with evidence and source control for media information. Keeping quiet doesn’t help especially when your own political parties question the operations.
6. This is not the last time India will have to cross the border. So prepare well and learn how to digest losses. No civilization ever succeeded without suffering.

DRDO plans to start delivering Rustom-2 drone to the AFs in 2020.

Speaking on the sidelines of a convocation ceremony of the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) on June 1, 2018, DRDO chairman S Christopher said, “With the help of production partners Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) our endeavor now is to deliver the drone by 2020. As of now, we are evaluating its endurance capacity, which is 24 hours with all types of payload.”

A DRDO official said the army and navy together require 150 drones.

Lets hope its true and not like their other projections.
