The range for Astra has always been very convoluted. DRDO tries its classic obfuscation technique to make it sound better than it actually is!

Astra range is NOT 80-110kms! Range should simply be defined as the distance the missile can travel towards its target at a certain altitude after it is fired PERIOD
DRDO 80-110kms is in a head-on chase which basically means that some of the distance is being covered by the enemy aircraft
If a suicidal enemy aircraft approaches Astra at Mach 2, then Astra's range is 110kms

I think Astra's realistic range is around 50-55kms

Also Astra range varies with altitude....
And astra can move up to 110 km at higher altitudes
And it has a range upto 20 km in lower altitude

ASTRA can be realistically be compared to Derby, MICA and AIM-120B which fall in NEAR-BVR category with range in 25nm arena rather than true BVR missiles with more than 40nm arena range. DRDO as usual puts out ridiculous info which only damages their own credibility.

If you check his profile, you will still find his original tweet telling that the second mosque attack was a well rehearse video shoot to change policy decision making worldwide. Not sure if it is correct, it is a big thing. Could be a conspiracy by getting a few killed by non-Muslim and getting heat off Islamic terrorists worldwide.

You mentioned Indian Army has taken new positions. If that means we have occupied Pakistani border outposts, then it's A great news. More clarity is required on this. Are we only destroying Pakistani border outposts or occupying some of them as well.

Clarity is definitly needed. What we need to do is trust our Armed forces. They are immensely capable. Remember Pakistan Army is easily defeatable. But, NYTimes is the official spokesperson of US State department(inspite of it's anti-trump views). They are a different kettle of fish.
