Do u believe Pakistan a soverign country...amerika doing daily air strikes ......America entered their space and killed laden.......india entered twice.......
US drone strikes and the bin Laden job were military operations too.. they were violations of Pakistan's sovereignty.. that is why the Pakis were so embarrassed .... Now India(not some superpower) doing the same has humiliated the Pakis to a whole new level .... And I say.. from hereon we must keep trampling on their sovereignty openly..

By the way, with model code of conduct in effect, is it possible for IAF/Govt to release the proofs of balakot strike, signatures of f-16 used or any other proofs of downed f-16 that they have ?

India-US looking to co-develop small air launch UAVs: Pentagon

"Overall, we look at this as a cost efficient, cost effective way to provide additional capability to the war fighter. There are three proposed mission scenarios, humanitarian assistance/disaster relief, cross border operations and cave tunnel inspection," Lord said.

Why...why do we need US assistance on this?

US offers Javelin Anti-Tank Guided Missiles again to India: Sources

The Javelin is included in the Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) between India and the US, which means that that the US administration is ready to share technology and to co-produce and co-develop future weapon systems in India.

This article also says the following:-

The Javelin is included in the Defense Technology and Trade Initiative (DTTI) between India and the US, which means that that the US administration is ready to share technology and to co-produce and co-develop future weapon systems in India. Through the efforts of the DTTI, more than 50 per cent of the original or pathfinder projects have reached project agreement. Projects including signature aperture radar, hot-engine technology for indigenous light combat aircraft and stealth-coating technology are critical for widening the scope for DTTI cooperation.

If the above is true, then it's A big thing considering hot engine tech for LCA & stealth-coating are some critical technologies we need. Reading the complete article it sounds that US has realized that India will develop these technologies one day with or without their help. So US is opening doors for critical tech. This article gives examples of how we are going to produce MPTGM, Nag and so on in near future in large numbers.

IAF is not government. IAF can do anything freely on its own will.

Plus model code of conduct does not apply to national security and cannot interfere with governance in these matters.
We could launch a couple of nukes and still it would no violate MCC. BTW...would it be a good idea if we declared few Brahmos cruise missiles as Non state actors. :biggrin2:

Huh? The JAVELIN was rejected way back in 2014. Questions over U.S. reliability and commitment to giving India what it wanted with reports suggesting that the Pentagon had scaled down the number of JAVELIN systems that could be exported to India.

And now they seem desperate to sell what they contend is the 'upgraded' version. Will we bite?

Interesting thing is US knows that if they deny us technology, we are capable of developing it ourselves. If US is eyeing at checking Pakistan & China, US has to share critical tech we need. With or without their help, we will develop them. It's matter of time.

Unable to comprehend how can AMRAAM can be used in anti terror role. Which terror group has an airforce to fly.
Whom are they trying to troll.:lawl:
Actually the Yanks had sold the F-16s with the AMRAAMs not only specifically for CI ops but also to defend themselves in the event of an attack from a third country. This could be an attack by air assets and thus the AMRAAMs. However this weapon platform was forbidden to be used in an offensive role.
