It's still significantly heavier than most contemporary 5.56 assault rifles, they will find recoil to be significantly more violent as well since they are used to 5.56 but above all else, the ammo itself weighs more than twice as much and that will negatively affect how much they can carry!! If we are to keep their loadout the same as the existing one, then the ammo loadout would have to be cut down by 50% - not really a promising scenario if you ask me.

Its a valid question,but geography dictates the position of mil installations not vulnerability.In some areas, Moving out of line of fire means forfeiting the particular sector to the the adversary ie, bharat.
We all know what China wants India handing over Arunchal Pradesh and Complete Hand Over of Ladakh to China. India will never hand them over to the chinks. Only way i can see China handing over our territory back peaceful is through India joining there Belt and Road and RCEP projects and deals or we might see a Indo-Sino Coalition against Pisslam Terrorist States like Turkey and Malaysia maybe in the future PorkiShitan as well who attack India and China over how they deal with the Pisslams.
