Just another day in The Valley
Oh God, That sentence can evoke very different images with different people...
For a military truck driver, it could mean just another day when his ass is burping and his nose is constantly flowing like a mini leaking tap under constant threat of IED..
For a soldier on ROP it could be just another day when he has to keep standing or at best squatting somewhere away from the road under rains, thunders or constant drizzling not knowing when and from where a bullet will come to say hello to him.
For a surgeon just another day in the valley means five casualties out side his operation theatre waiting to operated or amputated.
For a RR soldiers just another day in valley means he being on a cordon of an ares where a battle galore is raging a constant shudders of grenades or bomb blast are making deafening roars..
For another RR soldier just another day could mean making an entry into a room during a search and being shot at..
For a CRPF boy at Lal chowk just another day could me not able to sit for six hours when every passerby stared at him with the glances of hatred and violence and the constable not knowing who will throw grenades at him and his little son will be orphaned somewhere in Tamilnadu...
It could mean ... it could mean... it could mean..
