Every big move that happens in India has a consequence in Pakistan, as time passes Indias are shifting their attention from Pakistan and looking to other countries. Meanwhile exactly the opposite is happening in Pakistan, they are even more obsessed with us.

If u might have noticed Pakistani Opposition tends to blame the 370 disaster on Imran Khan even tho there is very little he could have done to stop it.
Pakitan simply doesn't have the size, money, hard, soft power, diplomacy and credibility to stop India's actions.

In what’s probably a first, the Catholic Church in Kerala has formed a unit of retired military and paramilitary men. Called the Gabriel Sena — the name is a Biblical reference to angel Gabriel, who is considered God’s messenger and one of the seven guardian angels — the group has been formed to help with crowd control.

The Gabriel Sena, launched in the archdiocese of Thalassery in Kannur last month, will hold its first meeting at Taliparamba in Kannur district on November 15.

The launch of the Sena comes at a time when the clergy has come in for questioning from the faithful on a number of issues, from sex scandals to land rows. Recently, a section of the faithful belonging to the archdiocese of Ernakulam had marched to the Cardinal House in Kochi demanding the resignation of Cardinal George Alencherry, who is embroiled in a land row. Last year, the arrest of Bishop Franco Mulakkal of the Jalandhar diocese, who was accused of raping a nun, came after sustained pressure from a group of nuns and a section of the laity.

Much has changed in Kerala since, and Gabriel is no Christopher if initial responses to the formation of the Sena are any indication.
The Catholic Church in Kerala wants to have its own private force, the Gabriel Sena — it says it wants it for crowd control. The plan is to enlist retired military and para-military men, who will become “guardians of faith and warriors of ideals”. Many of the faithful, however, are wondering who this crowd is, that so scares the church. What are these “threats” to faith and ideals and how grave are they that the Church needs to rope in a private force? Could it be that the clergy feels under siege from the faithful themselves? In fact, in recent times, the laity has often been seen protesting against the clergy for what it perceives to be the latter’s deviation from Christian ideals.

Six decades ago, the Catholic Church had raised a similar private force, the Christopher Sena, to safeguard its interests when the then Communist government introduced laws to reform land tenure and the education sector. Then, the Church had feared that the CPI-led government would legislate for a state takeover of its educational institutions and land. At its peak in 1959, the Christopher Sena, interestingly inspired by Spanish religious groups that rallied for General Franco against the Republicans, had a membership of a lakh. The Church and the Christopher Sena were at the forefront of the direct action movement — “the Liberation Struggle” — that led to the dismissal of the CPI government by the Centre.

Much has changed in Kerala since, and Gabriel is no Christopher if initial responses to the formation of the Sena are any indication. The hold of the clergy on the laity has surely weakened since the 1950s. Not surprisingly, on Thursday, the Church, following public criticism, shelved a meeting of the Sena planned for November 15.

The Indian Army will undertake a massive military exercise starting November 13 to November 18 near Pakistan border in Barmer district of Rajasthan.

The Indian Army will undertake a massive military exercise starting November 13 to November 18 near Pakistan border in Barmer district of Rajasthan.

The military exercise will be undertaken by the Sudarshan Chakra Corps of the Southern Army.

According to sources, more than 40,000 troops will be participating in the exercise to hone their combat skills and validate their deep-strike capabilities in the deserted area.

The exercise aims to validate the battle readiness and operational effectiveness of Sudarshan Chakra Corps in an integrated air, land battle scenario.

The exercise will showcase tanks and other armoured vehicles duly supported by overwhelming land and air-based firepower.

The exercise is being conducted under simulated battlefield conditions aimed at implementing surveillance and the mechanisms to validate the operational plans.

With an emphasis on joint operations, the exercise would test sensor to shooter grids by employing surveillance and air assets networked with land-based operational and tactical vectors, in addition, to manoeuvre by mechanised formations.

The exercise will showcase the seamless integration between armoured, mechanised infantry, infantry, artillery, air force resources as well as the special forces.

The combined arms cohesion will be on display with the integrated employment of mechanised forces with the newly inducted K-9 Vajra (Self Propelled Artillery Gun System) and indigenous Advanced Light Helicopter (Weapon Systems Integrated) 'Rudra' with innovative tech skills and prowess of IA as a Network Centric Force.

JAMMU, Nov 8: Two Pakistani militants in combat dresses and an equal number of Pakistan army personnel were killed while an Indian Army soldier was martyred in heavy exchange of gunbattle in Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district in wee hours of this morning while the enemy troops continued to violate ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) with a view to push the militants.
Sources told the Excelsior that Pakistan army fired mortar bombs and used automatic weapons to target forward posts of the Indian Army in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch early today in a bid to push the militants into Indian territory from the LoC. During shelling and firing, at least four militants wearing combat dresses tried to intrude into the Indian side.
Indian Army retaliated the firing and shelling effectively and at the same time kept track on the militants, sources said, adding that in retaliatory fire at least two militants were killed and their bodies were spotted lying at the Zero Line at Nangi Tekri in Krishna Ghati sector.
Weapons and explosives were also lying alongside the slain militants.

Pakistan army fired heavily on the Indian troops when they tried to bring bodies of the two slain militants into this side. Pakistani troops, according to sources, also tried to take the bodies towards their side but were not allowed to do so by the Indian Army.
Slain militants were in combat dresses and well equipped with arms, ammunition and explosive devices. They were believed to be Pakistani cadre of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant outfit. They were reportedly fidayeens (suicide squad) of Lashkar outfit.
Besides the two militants, two Pakistan army personnel were also killed in retaliatory shelling and firing by the Indian troops, which was very heavy as the Indian side was aware of major infiltration attempt by the militants in Krishna Ghati sector due to heavy presence of LeT and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants at launch pads on Pakistan side of the LoC.
An Indian Army soldier was martyred in Pakistan army’s firing and shelling while thwarting the infiltration attempt by the militants, aided and abetted from across the LoC.
The martyr has been identified as Sepoy Rahul Bhairu Sulagekar. He sustained gunshot wounds and was evacuated from the spot and shifted to nearby Medical Aid Centre where he was provided medical aid and resuscitation. However, he succumbed to his injuries and attained martyrdom in the hospital.
Aged 21, Sulagekar hailed from village Uchagaon, tehsil and district Belgavi in Karnataka. He is survived by his mother, Geeta.
“Rahul was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty,” a Defence spokesman said.
A wreath laying ceremony with full military honours was organized today at Air Force Station, Jammu for paying tributes to the martyr. Brigadier Vikrant Kulkarni, Officiating Station Commander, Jammu and other dignitaries laid wreath and paid tributes to the martyr.
Wreaths were also laid on behalf of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps and other military authorities
Sources said Pakistan army seemed to have attempted to infiltrate four highly trained Pakistan militants of the LeT outfit into Jammu and Kashmir through the LoC in Krishna Ghati sector but the Indian troops, who were maintaining very high alert all along the LoC in twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri, foiled the bid.
There have been specific inputs that large number of militants have come close to the LoC on Pakistan side and were stationed at launch pads with active support of Pakistan army to attempt infiltration into the Indian side getting an opportunity. However, all such intrusion bids by the militants supported by Pakistan army have been foiled by the Indian troops, sources said.
It may be mentioned here that Pakistan army has repeatedly been violating ceasefire on the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts since August 5 when the Central Government had scrapped special Constitutional provisions of Jammu and Kashmir and divided the State into two Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh.
