Suspected Pakistani spies use catfishing, stealthy hacking tools to target Indian defense sector - CyberScoop
Over the last 18 months, a spying group known as Transparent Tribe has expanded its use of a hacking tool capable of stealing data and taking screenshots from computers, according to research published Thursday by Talos, Cisco’s threat intelligence unit. Hackers also are going after additional targets beyond Indian military personnel, including defense contractors and attendees of Indian government-sponsored conferences.

Talos did not mention Pakistan in its research, but multiple security researchers told CyberScoop the Transparent Tribe group is suspected of operating on behalf of the Pakistani government. Similarly, research from email security firm Proofpoint has previously linked a Pakistan-based company to the development of the group’s malicious code.

Something is up with Afghanistan. Over the last few months, they have tried to make peace with Pak, and also attacked it. Exposed Chinese covert actions in Afghanistan, while most such matters, especially when two powers have such a huge power differential, handle it quietly. A bunch of meetings between Amrullah Saleh(ex-Afghan Intel chief, now VP) and the Afghan Ambassador, with Doval, Jaishankar and the PM himself. Also, something which went seriously unnoticed in India over the last few months, is that there have been two bilateral meetings between Jaishankar and the Turkish Foreign Ministers(one was on the sidelines of the Heart of Asia where the meet with the Turks was the only bilateral meeting held then), and I can't remember the other one. Add to this that ex-Northern Alliance commanders have been coming down due to Gurgaon and meeting with the EAM himself. You can find an interview with the Wire(I think Ismail Khan?). Something fishy is up. Estimates say that the Tal!bs might take over within a few months to a year once American support stops. They have already captured a district afaik. India won't sit around and allow them to take over shit. Something is up.

CISF and SWATs do seem to try training for that kind of situation though
"""""If""""". Force One can't deal with hijacking. No state police unit can. And MARCOS and Para arebt trained for such a situation either AFAIK. SFF is a light infantry unit. So out of question. No way SG gets the green light if the hijacking is within India. So that leaves NSG. Who exist for such a situation. Though it won't come to that. No hijackers will be stupid enough to have the plane land in India. So that leaves SG. But we all know the story of IC814. Make what you will of it.
NO police unit is equipped to storm a bus let alot a plane. Infact not even the Paras or SG. Only the NSG. Photo ops for politicans not withstanding.

Please read any book on what all training goes into Anti Hijack ops. Even within NSG only a small cadre train for retaining planes.

I wonder for every such consignment recovered by BSF or any other law enforcement agencies, how many go unnoticed and the contents of such consignments reach their intended recipients?

Ps paaki ak mod is ugly
That's coz they are the type-56-2 Chinese AK
You can identify with it's distinctive fixed stock
There are no widely available mods for the stock for type-56-2 the front part is same as any other AK, so the handguard can be modded easily
Although I have seen pictures of those chini AKs with completely modded stocks, it even had a cheek raise and rails on top cover, both 12' and 6' o clock positions

Notice the Magpull CTR stocks, Umriki stuff, very potent weapons, don't judge a book by its cover

Militants in j$k mostly use 10 kg of ied mostly but our mpv survived the attack quiet a Septacular performance by our indigenous vehicle seeing performance of US forces in Afghanistan
Are you suggesting that our MPVs are superior to what the Americans use?

Our MPVs are indigenous?

How many IED detonations have been encountered in the past 20 years ? How many casualties in same time period ? Then compare with US forces please.

Building an superior mpv as compare to US is not important. Learning that we get in building that mpv is important. We learned mpv technology from South Africa. We are trying to perfect that technology that important. We can upgrade it later and afterwards compare it with international competitors.

What is use of having superior technology and getting your ass kicked in Afghanistan , Vietnam, Iraq, etc
