pakistan 155mm artillery - chinese sh15- 236 to be delivered. m109a2- 150 and m109a5 115 they were delivered by usa in 2010. panter turkey - 72, m198 -124. total 697. all of them are operational.

All M109 and M198 operational.. Back that up.. Maybe they are truly other worldly, and have tilism and Roohani taketh.. to ensure that all 124 M198, retired by US are operational..

i will end the debate now . 203mm howitzer ammunition is manufactured by POF . proof of them being in active service.
yea we will fire brahmos or prithvi missile to hit targets more than 100km range which increases the cost many times. we dont have endless supply of either of them. mlrs are very important today especially against chinese.

Not happening.. completely in the chokehold of babu-ns. Unless of course, we lose a war and over introspect & make drastic changes. Whatever little progress we see in procurement is thanks to a powerhouse China next door churning out military toys like rabbits. There again we fail to replicate the Chinese model (super charged domestic production), instead go for fancy global tenders and pitifully small acquisition numbers (poor country saar) then hide behind the fig leaf of qualitative superiority. Are we really hoping double digits of Rafale and Apaches will save us Ladhak should push come to shove? Sounds more like a prayer of the feeble.

Multi decades-long procurement processes and still ending up with lemons like AK-103, no result in MMRCA & so many others. The only thing they are good at is religiously coming out with a new mishmashed & confused DPP every year- being baboons. Forces are too low in the pecking order to complain and politicos too dependant on bureaucracy to effect change.
