Depends on how you want to go about it ? Eventually it's all of Paxtan which we must claim along with sizeable parts of Afghanistan along the Kabul Jalalabad Zabul Ghazni Kandahar axis & Balkh in C Afghanistan.

In terms of our civilization these were parts of India too along with Bangladesh.

Otherwise we must be prepared to play the long game . What I fear is we're doing neither just making tall claims come elections about PoK with no strategy on how to get it & manage the fall out or worse just manage the fall out of Paxtan imploding without any plans of invasion.

That's been the SOP of the NATO forces in Iraq and Afghanistan for a long time now. You'll almost never find one of their convoys leaving base without some form aerial support be it a drone or a heli. Heck, in our context, even a tethered FPV drone can do wonders. And some of the vehicles should be equipped with the see-through armor system as well.

Army had those open top gypsies with 2 men standing at the end. That could work, plus that Acoustic Gunshot Detector can also help incase the ambush happens like that on Airforce guys where they engaged from a longer distance.
Or an aerial survey of the route, perhaps we can even bait them but that would involve too much human risk.
We all don't see anymore SADOs being launched, I guess these militants have minimal contact with the population leading to very little or no information on them except the recent camera images and sketches.

Yes, this is only d way. Then align that area with rest of JnK. I think first keep aside funds for that area.

Another way is there too...if possible help the pok people to get independence from Pakistan,as we do 1971 war ....but this time India should get some land in return.

Yes, roaming in the same area from village to village harrassing locals while army is nowhere to see. That's why permanent bases with large troop induction is required in poonch. They are essentially roaming freely in those area

What will you do about the 300 million greens there though?
Unless this question is answered, jhumlas about retaking PoK are moot even without getting into the military planning and hardening the national economy phases.
