1. First of all, the area where the encounter happened is really remote.
2. Most likely the terrorists were camouflaged.
3. We are still not using advanced technologies like HHTIs or drone swarms.
4. Relaxed following of SOPs due to underestimating.

6. IA doctrine “rush in and overwhelm with numbers”.

IA has to realize that taking out terrorists at the LoC or plain areas is easier than terrorists camoufpaged in hard to reach places. Never underestimate your enemy. Overwhelm with technology and not manpower. Wait and draw out terrorists-cut off food and water.

CCS - cabinet committee on security must authorize to retaliate across the LoC and take out top Porki army and isi officers. Israel style assassins with AI tech needed. Also time to change government in Nepal and pretty much install our puppet there. Nepal’s weak security and games they play with China is turning out to be security risks. Sadly 'Encounter based Promotions' is a reality in the valley.

There is no courage in doing stupid things like leading from the front for a CO, during coin ops in your own country, where Indian Army has overwhelming superiority in manpower, firepower, intelligence and even time to wait out the terrorists.. i think there was no firefight or charging . some source gave them location of a hideout which was true . all 3 went to location for usual investigation / photo-op .

militants were waiting nearby and gunned them down .

as usual TRF wont release vids/pictures immediately , will wait some days/weeks for situation to cool then start propaganda.

Fighting in tough terrains is very difficult. Drones are not enough - they won’t penetrate the thick forest cover. Need to use hand held thermal imagers, corner shot rifles, ground robots for advance recon, get special forces like Marcos or NSG involved. The regular RR lacks technology and expertise to fight in highly difficult terrains.

Nothing to lose politically for BJP by doing so

But I know there is a grand plan to take PoK back peacefully without sacrificing lives( with help of Saudi and UAE) so this will not happen
