Iam more interested in the docking dates, Chinese ship was to be docked on between 11-15 August.

China didn't got the permission and they unleashes their pet dog Pakistan to be available at that same port and in that same timeframe.

Please elaborate on the why. I have no understanding of how or why back channel talks are conducted.

Maybe its just one off and controversial to make such a blanket statement, but I get a sense that IA always punches above its weight whereas IAF flatters to deceive. The Balakot mission was flawless but Feb 27th was a fiasco.

That was one hell of a day. PAF probably had military installations at Rajouri in sight. Had they succeeded it would have been sure shot war in an instant. Still it turned to be a total shambles from both sides.
