Adblock only blocks Javascript Ads, based on its definition of 'ads' it does not stop all scripts in bulk. This loophole does not stop Facebook from hiding their ads under other guise. Also, advertising with facebook is not just about banner ads, there are promoted posts and other type of paid promotions which cannot be caught by adblockers.

Another trick is to download a simple CSS injector browser extension for your browser and add display: none; attribute for all the elements you want to hide, manually. Takes 2 minutes to accomplish.

Since using ABP I haven't seen any ads.

I don't use FB because I don't like zuckerberg.

Plus I watched this docu on how these companies use your data, it wasn't a pleasant documentary.

BJP hoardings threatening to "hit" Pakistan in their own territory
came up in communally sensitive Muzaffarnagar, a local Samajwadi Party leader has also put up a hoarding claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered the
surgical strike
only after consulting with SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Mohammed Shamsher Malik, the district president of the Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha, confirmed to TOI that he had ordered the hoardings to be put up.

In the hoarding, placed at Novelty Chowk in the city, pictures of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, CM Akhilesh Yadav and Malik can be seen, along with a message thanking the Indian Army for the surgical strike, and Mulayam, "on whose advice the Indian government carried out the strike". The hoarding goes on to declare, in an obvious reference to the BJP, "The Indian Army which carried out the strike and enhanced India's pride globally are heroes; those who play toxic politics in the name of the Army are zeroes."

"Netaji (Mulayam) has been our defence minister in the past, so he is well informed on what has been going on at the border and how the terrorists' infiltration could be curbed. He met PM Modi and advised him to conduct surgical strike across the LoC," Malik told TOI.

On being asked how, being a very junior leader in the party, he was privy to such confidential details, he said, "Our senior leaders in the district share what they discussed with leaders in Lucknow and Delhi. I got to know from them and realized the common man must know the truth, about who advised the Union government on such a bold step."

District president of Samajwadi Party in Muzaffarnagar, Shyamlal Saini, denied that he had any such information mentioned by Malik. He told TOI over the phone, "Neither do I have any idea where Malik got this information from, nor did I know, till now, about any such hoarding in the city. However, we know that the Centre took the decision of conducting surgical strikes taking all the senior politicians in confidence. As Netaji has been defence minister in past, government would certainly have discussed the matter with him before taking such a bold step. We see no harm if someone among us praises the Indian Army and our leaders for conducting surgical strikes in PoK."

Two days earlier, BJP supporters had erected hoardings at nine spots in city but brought them down shortly after a massive row erupted on social media.
Aam Aadmi Party
had slammed BJP for politicizing the incident while, taking a dig at the BJP, Omar Abdullah, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir posting from his official Twitter account: "And some people will lecture others about politicising the Army action all the while turning a blind eye to hoardings like these that sprout."

It's not pointless, the salaries are much lower than the civil sector. We were commenting about the incentive for somebody to join DRDO instead of a much higher paying job for a private company.

First compare the perks and other aspects before making such comparisons.
Next, many join DRDO out of the sheer desire to do something valuable, not just money.
Several leave not because of money but because of politics and bickering. The work culture in all Indian organizations run by Indians suffers from some common dysfunctions. That should be the primary fix, not just offering money.

Intelligence sources say the Lashkar cadre were apparently miffed as the military didn't allow them to remove bodies of their men from locations of the surgical strikes.

Surgical strikes carried by Indian Army created a rift between LeT and Pak Army.The Pakistani military gave priority to its own soldiers.LeT terrorists were reportedly allowed to do so only in dark.

The surgical strikes by Indian Army para commandos in enemy-held territory across the Line of Control has not just rattled Pakistan but also seems to have created a rift between Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists and their handlers in the Pakistani army.

Intelligence sources say the Lashkar cadre were apparently miffed as the military didn't allow them to remove bodies of their men from locations of the surgical strikes.


The Pakistani military gave priority to its own soldiers - both dead and injured - who were the first to be evacuated. The LeT terrorists were reportedly allowed to do so only in the dark.

This second-hand treatment is said to have led to resentment among the LeT cadres.

Earlier, terror leaders Hafiz Saeed and Syed Salahuddin had been shifted to an army camp in Lahore, as Islamabad is said to fear more retaliatory strikes from India. Pakistan Army commandos in plainclothes are providing them close security.
In fact, Pakistan Army has also shifted back the terror launch pads near the LoC by 7-8 km deep inside PoK.


INCREASED DETERRENCE
Meanwhile, high-level sources say the surgical strike has ensured that the threshold of reaction from Pakistan has come down. If there is a big terror attack like the one in Mumbai on 26/11, there can be retaliation from India, the sources said.


"Pakistan now knows that the vicious circle has been broken. In the past, terror attacks took place after which India would break off talks and then, after a while, the talks would begin again."

"Now, Pakistan knows that there will be punishment (from India) if a big terror attack takes place," he added.

A senior official rejected the chances of a tactical nuclear strike by terrorists. "A nuclear attack by terrorists is unlikely. Even if they get their hands on such a weapon, it is also about delivery and more importantly, the codes and technical details are such that a terrorist would not be able to handle it," he said.

IRGC Captures 2 Pakistani Terrorists in Southeastern Iran

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and intelligence forces captured two terrorists of Pakistani origin in the Southeastern parts of the country with two ready-to-explode bombs.
The two terrorists were arrested in Kalegan district of Saravan town in Sistan and Balouchestan province in a surprise attack by the Iranian security forces.

After their arrest, it was revealed that they are of Pakistani origin and members of an outlawed terrorist group who sought to enter Iran to carry out sabotage acts and create fear and panic among people.

After searching their hideout, two pressure bombs which can be triggered by depression of brakes or accelerator pedals were seized which were due to be planted in cars to explode in crowded areas, along with other weapons and ammunition.

Earlier this month, the IRGC had also dismantled a team of 9 terrorists "sent by Saudi Arabia to foment insecurity inside the country".

The IRGC killed four of the terrorists, including their commander, and injured two others in the city of Saravan.

Official statements said the terrorist team which intended to carryout "sabotage acts inside Iran was disbanded by the IRGC in the Kouhak border region of Saravan city".

The IRGC also destroyed the weapons, ammunition, wireless equipment, night-vision goggles and three Toyota vehicles of the terrorists calling themselves Jeish al-Adl group.

In a relevant development earlier this month, the Iranian intelligence and security forces dismantled a team of 12 terrorists sent by Saudi Arabia and certain trans-regional states to foment insecurity inside the country.

The terrorist team which was equipped with light and semi-heavy weapons and intended to carryout sabotage acts inside Iran was disbanded in the Western bordering areas of Sardasht city through cooperation with the IRGC forces.
