Sir, that's absurd. Without mission Objective, What Troops will do?
We/Army/Institution need an Objective - measurable and achievable which means not suicidal. To achieve this we have set of principles ( Values ) which dictate type of action we take Moral/righteous/unrighteous. We create Strategy to move from point A to B to achieve this objective in steps. Each strategy has pro/cons..hence action/counter actions. and finally we have Plan 1day-1 week-1m-3m-6m-9m-12m+ months to achieve that set objective and plan with Strategy and driving principles resulting us in taking actions.

So without outcome or Objective it is like sailing in sea dont know where to go, just go ...dont care where. Where do you think this ship reach? Will it has even compass if dont have objective?

They are oogah boogahs, their ancestors were going back and forth between present day border for hunting, foraging etc since god knows when.
The border is porous and not fenced or walled or anything, so such incidents will happen.

The guy is not a Ghandi bhakt, he's just asking what objectives will we have, is our goal to push them back till the LAC status quo line, is our goal retaking Aksai Chin, how do we plan to accomplish it, etc.

In anycase we are a peacefool country, as you see the babies Kadi Ninda and EAM Jaishankar are behaving, not some Superpower establishing hegemony :^)

War is an arbitrary decision that will be taken by the Chinese, we will simply respond according to whatever objective/victory condition GoI decides.

We are all on edge and the news channels are busy with #SSR.

It seems that a lot is happening at our borders with China, Pakistan and Nepal which is still not in public domain. The strange obsession of media with the SSR case can also be a Govt promoted event to divert public gaze from events at Border. OSINT handles are misreporting or spreading confusion very frequently. This seems planned by Govt. I would not be surprised if we might have lost territory somewhere as this news of us occupying new heights suddenly came out. Why would Govt suddenly decide to advertise border moves when it wanted to avoid escalation all the while...I feel something is being hidden from public. I am no OSINT but this is my reading of the current situation from publicly available information.

It depends on our leaders we were much poorer country in 1971 entire world was united against us but still we broke Pakistan into two it’s about will power of the government if North Korea and Iran can stand up against USA and EU then India is a much powerful country
