Agree they are very hardcore Hindus. Regarding conversion thing.. So many Hindus converting to Christianity reports have come in India thanks to missionaries. Thing is they have superiority complex of martial race & better hindus.

My only hope is that GoI doesn't vacate these peaks if the deescalation is agreed in near future. We should keep all the positions.

Let China pull back to our perception of LAC and we keep our advantage!

I suspect bad economy is making Modi adopt an aggressive posture at LAC. Not that I have any problem with it. Chinese arrogance at border meetings isn’t helping other. Bat-eaters will only learn after being hanged upside down like the food they eat.

Let me tell you, it will be nigh impossible to tell a non mongoloid nepali belonging to chetri and bahun caste from an Indian.

Also Gurkhas or Gorkhalis are Nepalese belonging to one particular district, GORKHA. They became famous because the ruling Shah Dynasty of Nepal was from Gorkha district and their army consisted of Gorkhalis.

The mountains were controlled by the mountain tribes and the royal family of manang and Mustang still hold fort there.
